Get this CPU!

AMD Athlon 64 X2 4600+ - Athlon 64 X2 Windsor Dual-Core 2.4 GHz Socket AM2 65W Processor - ADO4600CUBOX
AMD Athlon 64 X2 4600+ - Athlon 64 X2 Windsor Dual-Core 2.4 GHz Socket AM2 65W Processor - ADO4600CUBOX

Pros: works great, this particular chip uses less watts than the similar 4600+, this does not affect the performance. The motherboard I'm using is Abit's Fatal1ty AN9 32X.

Cons: It's a little pricier than the similar AMD Athlon X2 4600+, if you don't mind your computer using more watts go ahead and buy the similar non-65W CPU. Also the CPU with similar speed: Intel Core 2 Duo performs "slightly" better in benchmarking tests. But it's barely noticeable.

Overall Review: I'm using a piped heatsink. (Zalman's CNPS 9500 AM2 FAN) works great and is silent! Better than the stock fan.

Arrived DOA

Foxconn C51XEM2AA- 8EKRS2H AM2 NVIDIA nForce 590 SLI MCP ATX AMD Motherboard

Pros: great color, nice design, specs look good on paper, never tried it though.

Cons: I got it DOA, never worked for me. Never got a replacement.

Overall Review: If you're installing Zalman's AM2 fan, you may have to use excessive force to get the retention clip to clip onto the notch.

Great Case, Very Uniqe Design

NZXT LEXA-NP Black/ Silver Aluminum Construction
Plastic Front Panel ATX Mid Tower Computer Case
NZXT LEXA-NP Black/ Silver Aluminum Construction Plastic Front Panel ATX Mid Tower Computer Case

Pros: I've had this care for over a month now, first of all, the case is very aesthetically pleasing to look at. Very sleek. I like the curves, nice cooling: fan on front, side back, top and a optional fan port on the bottom since the whole case is raised up by 4 short legs. The case temp sensor and LCD look very sleek and have a nice color too it. The 120mm fans are great, quieter than the smaller fan, LEDs are very bright but lighting is very conservative on the outside of the case with only the HDD light and a horizontal blue LED line on the front. The front case covers any odd-color drives you may have (beige or white). The front cover seems to muffle the sound of the removable drives. The case is called a mid-tower but there's a lot of space. I like the dust filter that the added with the case, especially the aluminum dust covering the side window case fan (very useful for intake fans). After one week of use, I took the filter out, shook it a little and there was dust all over the place

Cons: I had to position my PSU upside down because it couldn't adjust to the screwholes, thus making the top blowhole unusable for a fan because power cables were too close to install it. I'm being a little nitpicky about this one but the window view extends all the way so you can see the drivebays, I personally like windows that cover the drivebays but that's my opinion. If you use all the fans in your case, it will be somewhat noisy. Oh yeah, we Americans are stubborn, we still like the Fahrenheit measurement when everybody else is using Celcius, the temp sensors only measure in Celsius but I guess I'll have to adjust. You can take off the screws by hand with the thumbscrews if you have the plastic back cage/cover installed. I never put any screws on the side panel though, the side door handle securely latches to the case already.

Overall Review: I like the addition of the carrying strap for the case, it protects the side window from scratches and makes the case more easier to carry. I also had an LED short out on one of the two 120mm fans. I went to NZXT's website and e-mailed support, all I had to do was provide proof of purchase (invoice/receipt) and photographic proof of the problem and they provided me a replacement fan and arrived in a few days. Great service!

Great board, with a some flaws.

ABIT Fatal1ty AN9 32X AM2 NVIDIA nForce 590 SLI MCP/SPP 190 ATX AMD Motherboard
ABIT Fatal1ty AN9 32X AM2 NVIDIA nForce 590 SLI MCP/SPP 190 ATX AMD Motherboard

Pros: Excellent board, unique looking board, Red LEDs on motherboard may cater to some. I love the mini-fans attached to the I/O board. No probelms, easy install.

Cons: Has only one PCI slot, and it's unusable if you have an SLI configuation for your video cards. So future upgrade for a sound or physics card is not possible. I'm forced to use the sound card that came with the mobo that's designed to fit with SLI, it's a realtek and sound quality is better than I expected. I heard for some people the some SATA ports may be covered if video card is too long. But I'm using an XFX GeForce 7900 GS so it wasn't a probelm for me. The flashing red LEDs may not cater to some people's tastes. But I like it because it's unique.

Overall Review: using Athlon X2 4600+, Zalman's CNPS 9500 AM2 fan WILL FIT!!! Was kind of worried but I installed it perfectly, make sure your RAM's heatspreader isn't too thick, I'm not sure if it'll fit if you're using Corsair's new dominator brand. This mobo's DIMM config is a little differnt, DIMM slots 1 and 2 are placed together rather than every other slot. I'm using Corsair's XMS 2 DDR2 800.
