Great little charger

GTMax 2 Port USB Car Charger Vehicle Power Adapter - Green (2000mA)
GTMax 2 Port USB Car Charger Vehicle Power Adapter - Green (2000mA)

Pros: Price is low. Size is small. Colors are cool. It does what it purports to do, charges with two different amperages (2.1 and 1.0).

Cons: Lack of instructions.

Overall Review: I'm not sure the difference between the two amperages, so did a little research. Here's a little Q&A: Someone else asked if they were to connect a device in the 2.1A port instead of 1A port, would it charge any faster (that is if phone can draw more than 1amp)? Also, possible that the 2.1A port is usually used for iPad charging. Would it damage other USB devices like phone in any way if one were to use 2.1A port for charging? Answer: You will be fine if you use the 2.1A port. The phone will only take the amount of current it needs from the port. If it needs 1A it'll draw 1A. Its not like the charger will force extra current into the device, as would be the case if you used a higher -voltage- charger.

Just not that good

Kitchen Mama Electric Can Opener 2.0: Upgraded Blade Opens Any Can Shape - No Sharp Edge, Food-Safe, Handy with Lid Lift, Battery Operated Handheld Can Opener (Red V2)
Kitchen Mama Electric Can Opener 2.0: Upgraded Blade Opens Any Can Shape - No Sharp Edge, Food-Safe, Handy with Lid Lift, Battery Operated Handheld Can Opener (Red V2)

Pros: These reviews would tell you this is the next great thing. It's not. The reviews are mistaken (or paid and fake).

Cons: It's weak. It's heavy. It's NOT better than a countertop model. It's gimmiky. It's poorly designed. It's cheap. It's Chineseium.

Overall Review: Please don't buy this. Go elsewhere.

Blinded by the light...

Collection LED A19 7W 40 Watt Replacement Light Bulb, Daylight
Collection LED A19 7W 40 Watt Replacement Light Bulb, Daylight

Pros: This is a very bright light for only 7w of power. Says 40 watt equivalent and I can't argue. Might even be 50 or 60 watt equivalent depending on your lamp shade. The color is bluish, when I first put it in, but that was my perception. Compared to the other lightbulbs I had around me, it was blue. But in reality everything I had was horribly yellow. After I switched out four of these, I started to realize the color spectrum I had been missing. If you like more natural light, these are in the white to blue spectrum, and pretty darn bright. Just right for the side of the couch, excellent for around LCD TVs (no glare to speak of) but too bright for the bathroom mirror area for example. Mirrored areas would need more like a 20 or 30 watt equivalent.

Cons: The heat sink does get hot, as it should. But that means you can't put it in enclosures like can lights, as the manual confirms. That means someone, somewhere thought it might get hot enough to melt stuff, which would cause a fire hazard? Instruction manual states "do no look directly at the light" which I found very hard to do. C'mon, how many of you don't look at your lightbulbs at least once or twice? It's like not looking at the sun: you know you shouldn't do it, but you do.

Overall Review: If the 36-year lifespan and semi-shockproof nature of these bulbs holds up, I'm gonna be a very happy customer. Just be careful handling them when hot. The lighted tip of the bulb is plastic and remains cool, but the fins are made of aluminum and get very hot (as they should) as they are a heat sink.

Good stuff

AMD Phenom II X4 955 - Phenom II X4 Deneb Quad-Core 3.2 GHz Socket AM3 95W Desktop Processor - HDX955WFK4DGM

Pros: It does its work without complaining. Benchmarks higher than other processors costing more.

Cons: Pair it with quality RAM. Not really a con, but you should follow this anyway.

Overall Review: Been running Win7 Ult with a host of developmental programs, servers, virtual machines. This thing saws through every request I give it.

Great upgrade

Behringer UltraBass BXL900 Bass Combo Amp
Behringer UltraBass BXL900 Bass Combo Amp

Pros: Price, features, quality. The features blow away my last bass practice amp. Of course it was about 15 years old. Now I get all these cool features like a distorted second channel, 7-band equalizer with cool glowing lights which show how much sound is going thru each channel. Yea it's tight.

Cons: Really none.

Overall Review: Honestly the reason I bought this is because I thought my other amp fried. After I received this, it started doing the same thing, so obviously it was my guitar that was causing the problem, not my amp. So I guess check ur gear first haha... But buy this anyway. You'll like it.

Avoid this garbage - or hope you get lucky

Westinghouse 32" 720p 60Hz LED-LCD HDTV LD-3235
Westinghouse 32" 720p 60Hz LED-LCD HDTV LD-3235

Pros: Low price. That's it.

Cons: The first thing I noticed, and reason why this set lost 4 eggs in the review was because it hums. It not only hums, it like VIBRATES the surrounding area, and creates a sonic wave that bounces off nearby walls and resonates over distance and seems to get louder the longer it's on. The picture quality is poor, the color is washed out despite adjusting settings. The remote is ridiculously hard to control and that makes setup no fun. Customer support is non-existent as far as I know. I opened a "ticket" with their support desk via website and never to this day have heard back from anyone.

Overall Review: I bought this TV from a large retail chain with a red circle logo and bulldog mascot. I generally love this retail chain. I used my credit card and got an additional 5% discount. I really loved them when it was time to take this LCD back. They returned it with no questions asked, more than newegg will do. This LCD is so poor that frankly ANY OTHER 32" 720p set will be better than this.
