AMD is the way to go
Pros: Works as advertised. Haven't run into any gaming issues, but I ususally only play CS2. Very fast chip and dual core is excellent for multitasking
Cons: None so far
Overall Review: In my opinion it is hard to rate a processor. It either works or it doesn't. Fortunately mine works as advertised. ASUS A8N-SLI Premium, AMD x2 4200, Gigabyte 7800gt 2x515 Corsair 3200C2PT, Hiper 580 psu
Pros: Small, lightweight, USB powered, attractive looking.
Cons: Very poor scan quality. I thought I just received a defective one, so I RMA's it through Newegg. The second one was even worse. The first scanner was very grainy and the second one had visible verticle lines in the pictures. Yes, I tried several different software adjustments with no luck. I used the troublesshooting guide with no luck. Maybe I just had bad luck or maybe I was too picky since this is a cheap priced scanner. But my main use was to scan documents and even those didnt turn out well.
Overall Review: I gave it two eggs becuase I like Canon's products. I have several products from printers to cameras and this was the first time I have ever been unhappy with Canon. As always Newegg was awsome in the way they handled business with all this. They obviously know what it takes to keep their customers happy.
Pros: Absolutely awesome picture! After tons of research, I decided on this model and do not regret it at all. I did have a problem I will mention below, but Samsung’s customer service and tech support were very easy to deal with and I could actually understand the person I was talking too! Speakers aren’t that bad as a few others mentions, but do you really plan to buy a TV like this and us the internal speakers??? This is a beautiful TV, don’t hesitate to buy.
Cons: I had the hour glass figure in the dark scenes like one of the other reviewers mentioned. However I called Samsung and within a day they had a technician call me to come correct the problem. Turns out it was just a tiny bit of dust that somehow made it into the sealed DLP chip area. Anyway, after removing the dust there are no unwanted images. I only listed this as a con because of the little bit of trouble I had to deal with and the fact that someone else actually had this problem. The TV is VERY much worth buying.
Overall Review: Newegg is awsome to deal with!
Very Nice Monitor
Pros: This is a very nice monitor. Very large! Colors are bright and vivid, arrived with no dead pixels. Minimal backlight (much better than the View Sonic VX922 it replaced). Probably the best monitor I've owned.
Cons: None really, but the blue light around the power button flashes when the monitor goes into standy or when the computer is off (I leave the monitor powered on even when the computer is off). But that is being really picky.
Overall Review: Like others I felt like I was taking a gamble with the whole S, C, A thing. And as others have mentioned I couldnt get into the menu showing the manufacturer code and there was nothing on the backside indicating who made the monitor. I did download a color profile from here which seemed to help make the color a tad more natural. Mine was made in China in July. Buy this monitor you will not regret it!!
Pros: Great range and speed (nearly doubled my download performance). Flashed with dd-wrt and it worked flawlessly. This is a great router. Ability to install 3rd party firmware like DD-WRT. There very few routers that have this ability and I can't stand Linksys.
Cons: Ok, so it takes some time (about a min or two) to reboot.
Overall Review: Not sure what the stock firmware is like. From the other reviews I decided to go with DD-WRT right from the beginning. DD-WRT works great and was easy to install.
Think hard before purchasing this one
Pros: Very cheap especially with the $5.00 rebate. Light weight. Good sound quality. Not a bad deal overall
Cons: Somewhat cheap feel overall. Mine came with NO manual. The online manual is a joke at best. Trying to figure out the mulit-use buttons with no manual is a pain.
Overall Review: Dont like the neck strap. An arm band would work better when walking around or working out. Neck strap is basically only useful when you are just sitting listening to music.
