Pros: Awesome card for the price. Bought this for a new rig. My old card was a AMD 6870 and it runs hot and starting to have artifacts (never buy from POWERCOLOR, I had to RMA it 2 times and a waste of shipping fees). Card runs cool. Runs everything I play on Ultra high settings. The length of the card is short so it fits my mini tower case without hassles (room for cables to the SSDs). Power connectors on the top of the card. Fan noise is low compared to my old card on high load.
Cons: Only 2 GB. Would be nice if it had 3 =) Would be nice if it included a sticker. No free shipping
Overall Review: Current Specs: AMD FX 8320 16 GB Ripjaws 512 GB Toshiba Q SSD GTX 760 (this one) 2x ASUS 23.4 Led screens I'm not a hard core gamer but would like to run games when I do play them on ultra settings to enjoy the CG. After the AMD 7870 repack into the R9 270 (+ price hike) I find that it is better bang for the buck getting this GTX 760 card. Others may disagree. You can get a AMD 7870 for 150 AR but now the R9 270/X is close to what you pay for this card.
Horrible Card DOA
Pros: It's a 6870 when it worked for a few days.
Cons: DOA on the first card - worked for literally 1 week before black and purple screens. Should have never sent in the rebate and give it back to Newegg instead.... 2nd Card - DOA - Artifacts all over 3rd Card - Working for 2 days so far will have to see. Waste of money RMA'ing 2 cards back to Powercolor them. Not happy at all. Should have bought a XFX instead. Both RMA cards came back with no shipping packaging just a bare retail powercolor box with a shipping label left on my front door. Can this thing withstand a 4 feet fall or get stolen if no one is home? Quality Control is a big problem with this company from production, support, and shipping.
Disappointed on this card.
Pros: It's a 6870 when if it worked... Rebate service is fast.
Cons: 1) First purchase - worked for 2 weeks but I have sent in the rebate so I had to RMA back to manufacturer. 2) Replacement - Worked for 2 days and artifacts started showing up. Swapped power supplies and switched to other computer as what their techs said. Had to send it back. 3) 3rd card came - looks like it works but will see. If it dies im going to toss it and cut the losses and get a XFX or Sapphire card instead. Having to pay for shipping twice back to them is costly.
Overall Review: I've noticed when the RMA cards came, it was shipped in it's bare retail packages without and additional packaging. FEDEX left the card at my front door where everyone can see it is a 6870 or video card. Would be nice if they ship it in a shipping box. Are they sure these cards can survive a 4 feet fall?
Awesome NAS Solution
Pros: Very easy to setup given I am somewhat on the newbie side of computers and technology. Easy to use Webmanager and have a pretty good torrent manager for BT. Thing does not run hot at all and very quiet. Currently using this to stream video to my Seagate Home Theather+, 2 laptops, and 1 PC. No problems streaming to 3 machines at the same time. The password protected directories is easy to setup in the webmanager.
Cons: Step by step instruction manual on the features would be great instead of a flimsy 5-6 page setup. I had to play with each of the feature to figure it out. How about some how to tutorials LG!
Overall Review: Have not tried 2x 2TB Samsung RAID 0 yet but will test it out when they go on sale. Had a issue with Vista network file compression. I had to turn it off. Not sure if its Vista or the LG NAS.
