WRT54GL
Pros: Bought 3 or 4 DOZEN of these units. No DOA's. Flashed with DD-WRT and setup WDS, works well. Crazy wireless configurations are possible like my 12 mile 11 WRT54GL Wireless Network.
Cons: Have to be smarter than what you're dealing with. When Flashing DDWRT you have to reset the router (not Linksys's fault).
Overall Review: Why give something a bad review if you don't understand it?
Low Quality
Pros: USB connection is handy. The PC will usually detect the device.
Cons: I have purchased over a dozen of these drives and have had to replace 25% of them within 3 months.. They tend to fail quickly, and being so inexpensive, the RMA process isn't worth it.
Overall Review: Spend the extra dollar or two and get a better name brand.
Massive
Pros: Powerhouse. Tagan delivers. I checked reviews prior to buying Tagan the first time, and I've never been disappointed. This one is no exception.
Cons: Make sure you have a sufficiently sized Mid Tower or larger, as the modular cable design is NOT used with this PSU. Which is actually a good thing, as it's been known to cause issues and loss of capacitance.
Overall Review: It comes with it's own Leather briefcase??? This power supply weighs a lot! Be prepared for chiropractic care if you travel to LAN parties.
Not the Normal GigaByte Quality
Pros: I bought two of these boards, and neither was DOA.
Cons: Where do I start? Neither board worked! Sure it would boot, but the RAID was a joke. USB wouldn't work. When I finally got Fedora installed after rolling back to SATA Compatibility, I was getting write errors to the drives. HDD Diags showed the drives to be fine. Second board wouldn't even load the OS. Corsair RAM and Tagan PSU's... In short, avoid this board!
Overall Review: Gigabyte makes top notch desktop boards.. Going to have to avoid their next few server board offerrings. I mean, when the OS sees right through your RAID5 config to see all 3 drives as individual.. you KNOW you've used the wrong RAID manufacturer. Am I the only one who dislikes the LGA775 push-down fan mounts? Feels kind of flimsy.
Annoying
Pros: It gives you that warm fuzzy feeling knowing that you supported Microsoft and their felonious endeavors.
Cons: Unstable. Cost too much. Security is laughable. DEP breaks old programs. Updates are a gamble, they may fix or create a problem. However, the most annoying thing about this product is the Activation. My customers are getting pillaged for the 45min I'm on the phone with Bangalore, IND; attempting to activate this
Overall Review: When did piracy become my problem??
