Pros: Great, crisp highs and mids. Stylish and compact make for easy and attractive speaker placements

Cons: If anything, these speakers lack a little bass. They are the bottom tier of the monitor series, but they sound amazing overall. I have these speakers standalone right now with a denon receiver. I will be adding a subwoofer and center channel soon to fill out the room a bit. The bass ports on these speakers do allow for some decent low range, but not quite enough if they aren't accompanied by a sub.

Overall Review: Awesome starter speakers for those slowly building a home theatre or music listening room. Make for great fronts, have excellent highs and mids. Would be well complimented by a decent subwoofer, center channel, and perhaps the bookshelf speakers from Polk.
