On the Qualified Vendor list for the new ASUS 890GX Mobo

Pros: Paired this with a new ASUS 890gx mobo/60gig OCZ SSD/Powercolor 5850/Asus DVD drive/850 watt OCZ GamerStream power supply. This ram posted a Windows Experience Rating of 7.5 on my system. Was one of the few vendors qualified to run four sticks of ddr3 1600 on my new motherboard. LIFETIME WARRANTY!
Cons: Autodetected at 1333ddr3 speeds. Quick boot to bios and a bump to the volts had this running at its rated speed with no problems.
Don't Worry Firmware will fix it?!

Pros: Wonderfully thin, Crisp and Vivid screen (no bleeding or dead pixels on mine). Games are awesome and only going to get better. 3/4 times camera is perfect and takes very good quality pics.
Cons: Weak Wi-fi. Most of my other wi-fi enabled devices can get almost twice as far from my router as this. Camera auto focus is not always fast/responsive (when it is it is a great camera but 1/4 pics taken it takes a LONG time to focus or it will focus on the background not the subject). GPS is hit or miss on my model and loses it's signal if you move much after you get a lock.
Overall Review: I personally am tired of "day one" patches/firmware updates. I bought a product that was advertised with certain features and more or less am being told don't worry we are going to fix those issues with firmware updates. What ever happened to product testing? Quality control? Would you buy a car advertised with NAV system only to be told later, after your find out it doesn't work, that there will be a work around to fix it - maybe? I don't think so - most people would expect all the features to work as advertised not just some of them. Still a wonderful Tablet and I am happy enough that I own it - I just wish all the features I paid for worked right out of the box.
I actually own this...

Pros: Really cool specs, Nice size -its very thin.
Cons: GPS BLOWS! I bought this thinking that it would basically become a 10.1" navigation system for the car.....It will not lock a satalite to save it's life. Did a quick search and found out that ASUS doesn't believe that it should function as a "professional gps" as per a company response. Thats very disapointing. Also there are long lags when rotating the tablet. Last con for me was the autofocus on the camera leaves a lot to be desired.
Overall Review: I own many Asus products and have always thought of them as top shelf stuff but the company response to the gps not working well/hardly at all - is horrible. The us asus site now has the GPS function removed from the spec page so i am guessing there is no fix coming. Really a shame I held out to get this tablet as my first and killing one of its features a week after release is inexcusable. By the way I also had 2 dead pixels on the screen too!
Really FUN and EASY to Fly!

Pros: Got this on sale after flying a friends E-Flite micro coaxial. Now this is not that level of model but just to have fun with it is great! It has been bumped and banged into about everything in my home and it has survived. Really a fun entry level product that ANYONE can fly.
Cons: Other then that spare parts are expensive 14.99 usd for 4 blades and a new shaft. I have not needed the spare parts yet but they did cost almost as much as the model after shipping. No changable battery either...you have to wait for it to charge.
Overall Review: Charge time was 22 minutes via the included usb cord and 25-35 minutes via the cord attached to the remote. Fly time was between 6-10 minutes. This really is a fun and enteraing thing for the whole family to play with.
You Should Check Yours Also....

Pros: This thing got great reviews and I have used Cooler Master cpu coolers in all my computers since 2005. Normally they are tip top in quality.....
Cons: The heat sink I recieved was never grounded/polished correctly on the bottom. Where the copper pipes are laid into the aluminium heat sink there are .020"-.030" air gaps. If they would have decked this part a little farther then they did these air gaps would not be there. I might try to hand lap this part into spec but it should not be required.
Overall Review: A heat sink should make 100% contact with your cpu with the exception of the thinnnest layer of thermal compound between the two. Having long air gaps the lenght of this cooler could have ruined my very expensive cpu and rma'ing this would cost me more then its worth - Oh well maybe a zalman/thermaltake /etc next time.
Good but Not Great

Pros: This mobo was to be the base of my new comp. I paired this with 4 gig of ADATA 1600 DDR3/60gig OCZ SSD/Powercolor 5850/Asus DVD drive/850 watt OCZ GamerStream power supply. Everything installed without a hitch. This motherboard posted a score of 7.3 CPU/7.5 RAM/7.7Graphics/7.7Gaming Graphics/7.0 Hard disk on the windows experience ratings.
Cons: It works as advertised but still was hoping for blow my socks off performance coming from an aging 770 chipset and an older 2.3 quad with ddr2. Wished it had come with more accessories also. I mean I realize that i got exactly what i had purchased but in the past ASUS boards have always had stellar acc. packs...oh well no biggie.
