Pleasantly Surprised

AGPtek 2500 DPI Blue LED Optical USB Wired Gaming Mouse - DPI Switch LED Light
AGPtek 2500 DPI Blue LED Optical USB Wired Gaming Mouse - DPI Switch LED Light

Pros: This mouse is comfy, and despite being a brand I've never heard of (and from China), the quality is a lot better than I'd expect. The DPI switch is great, LEDs light it up very well without being blindingly bright, braided cord feels durable, tracks very well and fits comfortably in hand. The buttons have just the right amount of "give" and feel good... not mushy and not too crunchy, good traction with the choice of finish. Best part? This mouse is CHEAP (in the good way).

Cons: For what I paid for this? None, abso-F'ing-lutely none.

Overall Review: The center wheel could scroll a bit faster, and the material of the wheel will get slick with prolonged exposure to skin oil, but that type of rubber will do that no matter the brand or price. Overall I'm very impressed.

Pretty....

Cooler Master MegaFlow 200 - Sleeve Bearing 200mm Blue LED Silent Fan for Computer Cases
Cooler Master MegaFlow 200 - Sleeve Bearing 200mm Blue LED Silent Fan for Computer Cases

Pros: - Looks nice - Fits nice - Runs silent

Cons: - Complete weak sauce, highly doubt it's moving the amount of air it's rated for... pulled it out in lieu of a pair of 120's and never looked back.

Overall Review: - I bought this fan thinking I could save a plug and get away with good airflow, but it's just so lackluster in the air-moving department that I just ended up throwing it out.

Good HDD

Seagate Desktop HDD ST320DM000 320GB 16MB Cache SATA 6.0Gb/s 3.5" Internal Hard Drive Bare Drive

Pros: Didn't cost a fortune and has great storage and speed.

Cons: None.

Decent board on a budget.

ASUS E35M1-M PRO Fusion AMD E-350 APU (1.6GHz, Dual-Core) AMD Hudson M1 Micro ATX Motherboard/CPU Combo

Pros: Decent price and saves you time having to mess with heatsinks and grease, and overall not a bad board for what it costs. Able to overclock slightly through BIOS.

Cons: Not able to upgrade CPU (uses an APU) and has trouble keeping up with intense graphics (slow APU), cannot overclock much (.2 GHz over factory).

Overall Review: For a budget build such as mine, it works really great and all my geek friends say I've got a great rig for the price.... However if you could afford a better board that doesn't use an APU, I would suggest going that route for the sake of more power and upgrades in the future.

Good card.

GIGABYTE GeForce GT 520 (Fermi) 1GB DDR3 PCI Express 2.0 x16 Low Profile Ready Graphics Card GV-N520D3-1GI

Pros: Quiet as a whisper and didn't cost a fortune, easy on my PSU and stays nice n' cool.

Cons: Doesn't seem to be happy about stressful situations, will notice some framerate spikes under intense graphics but still trucks on through.

Overall Review: Doesn't have SLI but I don't necessarily need that kind of setup for what I do on a daily basis.

Great RAM, great price.

G.SKILL Ripjaws Series 4GB DDR3 1066 (PC3 8500) Desktop Memory Model F3-8500CL7S-4GBRL

Pros: Fast and stable, heatsinks keep the temp nice and even.

Cons: None

Overall Review: Thought I had a bad stick of ram when I was getting memory dumps, but turned out to be a dying PSU.
