Pros: I paid $50 after rebate for this unit....the same thing that sells for $299 on the Polk Audio site and I am truly impressed with the sound this little thing puts out. I love the tremendous bass that this unique design gives and it's good and solid rather than the cheap sounding boomy bass you get out of low quality devices. I have relatives with a Bose wave radio and this Polk unit can hold it's own with the Bose. I didn't even crack open the owners manual so it's very user friendly. Great value!

Cons: The responsiveness of the buttons is slow so you have to be patient when switching between modes, adjusting volume, changing settings, etc.. It comes with 6 adapters that help hold the various Apple devices in place over the plug but everyone I know uses some sort of case on their device so these adapters don't fit anything and you have to dock without. This makes my Ipod wobble a lot when I'm trying to change songs or that sort of thing and I'm afraid that little plug will break off. I have a Sony dock that is more vertical and I was able to brace the back of my ipod on that one but since this one is more horizontal, I have had to order a dock extender cable (the one that carries audio and video) and just lay my ipod beside the dock.

Overall Review: Overall, I can't complain about this unit and we liked it so much, we now own 4 of them!

Pros: The software ended up being free after the rebate so cost is a big pro plus it came bundled with a game so that was nice. I am always skeptical about rebates but I got mine in good time so that's also a plus. Also, it doesn't take up too much space or processing power on my machine and so far so good as far as being protected is concerned.

Cons: Other than jumping through hoops to get the rebate, it just runs in the background.

Overall Review: Anytime I can get software for free, I'm interested. So far it has kept my pc protected so it's a good value for what I paid.
