Make paper simply disappear.

Pros: Decided it was time to eliminate as much paper in my home office as possible. Once I set this scanner up on my desk, I was able to feed in old bills, statements, warranties, user manuals, etc. Took three big bags to get rid of all the paper I shredded! Now a new document comes in, I scan it (takes only seconds), electronically file it and shred the paper. It comes bundled with Adobe Acrobat so you can make notations on the pdf's after scanning.
Cons: Sometimes has trouble translating business cards with intricate designs into text that will work with most contact managers. Haven't tried the scanner with multiple photos to jpegs, but I'm told that you'll need to clean the scanner sensors pretty often.
Overall Review: You will generate a LOT of electronic files if you start using this scanner regularly. Give some thought to how you want to label the files, where you'll store them and how you'll back them up. Do the work up front and it becomes much easier later on.
One Worked, One Didn't

Pros: The one that worked has been fast, silent and cool.
Cons: The one that didn't, well it didn't work.
Overall Review: Newegg's Customer Service was excellent as usual and issued an RMA for the defective drive without any hassle. Thanks!
Great Addition to Home Office

Pros: Excellent companion to an inkjet printer; I found myself going through those tri-color cartidges just printing drafts of presentations and web pages. Quiet, warms up quickly and prints even quicker.
Cons: - Couple of jams on envelopes with the manual feeder. - Included software adds unnecessary bloat.
Overall Review: Very pleased overall.
One Great Monitor

Pros: Setup took all of two minutes; absolutely no problem getting monitor and computer in synch. Image quality is excellent, no ghosting or hotspots detected. No dead pixels and no light leakage noted around the edges. Will be using this monitor for video editing and it's a vast improvement over my 19" Viewsonic. ...and the price? Great price and free shipping can't be beat!
Cons: Stand is on the lightweight side, but is not an issue if it's sitting on a sturdy desk.

Comments: VERY pleased with this purchase. Worked via DVI cable right out of the box (good thing - very little in the way of set up instructions!). Bight screen, no ghosting, no dead pixels. Excellent value for the money.
