Lian Li V600 Case

Pros: Excellent fit and finish. Easy side panel removal, especially with the serrated edges that help w/ grip (great idea, and looks good as well). Terrific cooling potential. Love the look.
Cons: Wish description was more informative about what CPU cooler space you have to work with. It was the only thing to make me hesitate in purchasing one of these cases. Very loud case fans at full voltage... and I mean LOUD.
Overall Review: My only hesitation about purchasing this case was the CPU cooler space issue. I finally decided that a Zalman CNPS7700 would fit; and it does!!! This is with an Asus A8N-E MB and Athlon64/939 socket. I was left w/ almost 18mm between fins and PSU and 22mm between fan hub and PSU. Also, the Seasonic S12/430W unit only extends to cover a bit better than half the fan. So, lots of air flow. I immediatly ordered a fan controller to tame the case fans, which I hoped I would not have to do. The Seasonic fan IS quiet and the Zalman as well... at least on lowest voltage. PSU cables can get in the way, so a modular plug unit would help. Otherwise, no big deal. I love the case. Hope these insights help.
stay away

Pros: non
Cons: cheap knock-off battery. Don't waste your money.
Love It!

Pros: Very intellegent design. Very small box. Rubber HD vibration dampeners work GREAT. Can't hear the WD Blue 500G drives. Used recommended cooler (passively) and PS (a great setup!). Wired both case fans for 5v operation. My AMD quad core processor is running very cool (I don't overclock). Decided I really didn't need a full ATX board for my general computing needs. This is also my first Silverstone case. Have always built with Lian Li, but no more.
Cons: Rubber HD dampeners are easy to rip apart but you should not worry. Bottom case fan initially would stall at 5v but now is broken in and no problem. Case is a little heavy due to mostly steel contruction, but the upside is you have lower system noise. Hinges squeek like an old door hinge, but I kinda like that for some reason. Remember to attach cables to optical drive and then feed cables into case before mounting the drive. You'll understand why when you get there.
Overall Review: Love this case.

Pros: No question, the best cases money can buy.
Cons: Don't buy an MSI NX8600GT video card, it WILL NOT FIT. I heavily modified the card to work... bent heat pipes, cut fins, etc. It worked, but just too much work. Had to dismantle the heat pipes and re-install once the card was mounted w/in case. What a pain.
Overall Review: Would buy another in a heart beat.

Pros: Functionally, an EXCELLENT card. Use for games and HDTV. Supperior results for both.
Cons: Heat sink, while a TERRIFIC feature, had to me modified extensively to fit in a Lian-Li v300 case. Worth the trouble, however.
Overall Review: Passive cooling is the way to go.
