...building since '98. i change my cases more than any other component & build around those. i reuse as many components as i can. i started out with Slot-A ending with AM3+ (the exceptions of Prescott, Kentsfield & Wolfdale). my personal builds are all LGA1200 - 10th & 11th GEN.
A tad late, but much appreciated ...

Pros: Upgraded from a 6400+ BE. Runs much cooler & doesn't use as much wattage (18C idle/24C load . A marked improvement in overall computing. The price is very reasonable, (whether on a AM2 or AM2+). Games play much smoother & look a little better, especially UT3. It's quite difficult to overload this CPU. I have 4 instances of Orthos-Prime running CPU Stress/Small FFTs/Priority 9 & there's ZERO slowdown or choppyness; while typing this review, defragging my HD, listening to iTunes & watching a DVD...
Cons: Came with a cheesy HS, (but not an issue since I'm on water). My first take on the power consumption of these quads was disappointing. However, my guess is that they need more power since they are a "True" quad-core? My main reason for getting this CPU was because of it's rated 95W consumption versus my 6400+ 125W. I lost about 1,000 3DMark2006 points with this CPU.
Overall Review: Overall I'm happy with the CPU. It made my little frag-box "that much better". the Truth...

Pros: I've had this version for a few months. I like the way it plays & behaves on XP, Vista or Win7. Probably the most solid suite of card games which feature Pinochle, Spades, Bridge etc...
Cons: The graphics are archaic. The resolution is locked to like 800x600. Hoyle (Encore or Navarre Ent.) have really got their head's up their whazzoos. Each year they put out a "new" version of their infamous Card Games series and each year it shows absoluetely ZERO visual improvement. In fact it actually degrades. I downloaded version 2010 thinking it would be "better". It was actually worse than 2008.
Overall Review: Shame on you people for regurgitating the same piece of donkey doodle over & over. I feel as though this 2008 version plays & behaves better than newer versions. If you are into playing various card games (which it does include just about all of them) then this is the best one to get. It's honestly not worth paying the $20+ for the download off their Website. Just buy the disc from tha' Egg.
Mehh

Pros: it's functional but . . .
Cons: -gonna have to recharge battery every so often...meaning downtime. -it dribbles residual soap after every use.
Overall Review: if it didn't dribble soap, i would keep using it. but it's messy & a waste since this foam soap ain't cheap. i just went back to the manual pump.
Great Cooler

Pros: looks & performs great. comes with 6 aRGB fans & hub/splitter. it's quite a steal @ this current pricepoint.
Cons: does not come with LGA 1700 / AM5 mounting so you'd have to procure those seperately.
Overall Review: i always wanted this unit but due to it's MSRP cost : performance i opted for others. however at this very moment in time, it's quite the bargain for what you get.
Long Live the B-Die

Pros: @ the current price of this stuff along with NewEgg's current promo XMP grabbed right off the bat w/o any issues (i've used Team's Vulcan SBD/c14/2rank before & XMP was non-existent) the RGB looks vibrant and tastful
Cons: really struggling to find any, but they don't carry thermal sensors
Overall Review: @ the current price/promo/performance it's a hekkuvva deal. granted these are not g-skill mirrors - but still. i have a fair amount of expereience with TEAMGROUP's memory & ssds; i can vouch for their responsiveness in support & THEY DO stand behind their products. this is my 12th kit of b-die (and counting). i don't see myself having the need nor desire to ditch ddr4 within the next 5 years or more so...
best fit for my hand

Pros: this maus fits just as good (if not better) in my hand than the death adder. has custom tuning capability (including rgb) i'm still able to support EVGA, in my own personal way great battery life when used as wired
Cons: rma imminent never charges past 86% max when used as wireless
Overall Review: i recomend it only <$30 price / cuase when you rma it, it's gonna cost you half that for shipping. mouse wheel & battery issues are a standard feature of this (& other) EVGA mice tbh, EVGA should mail out these mice as free swag for any registered gpu, psu, mobo owners. some people collect baseball cards, comic books or bottle caps...i collect EVGA m,ice, gpus & t shirts (that i'll never be able to fit into) so that maybe one day i can open my EVGA museum
pROMPT quality
Great Seller. Just as described with prompt shipping from ViVa Laz Vegas ♥
Good ole Patriot
I've used Patriot Memory since DDR3 for solid, reliable (albeit more budget friendly) builds. This kit continues in what I've come to seek from them. As others have stated, I too appreciate the 'BlackOut' minimal/non-rgb look from these sticks. I specifically bought 2 kits of (2x4GB) to max out my 4DIMMS for a dual rank/dual channel config. Only 1 discrepancy to make note of: NewEgg's description showed XMP timings of 16-18-36 when CPU-Z, Thaiphoon & HWiNFO show 16-20-40. This isn't an issue for me & this this build, but just want to make note to anyone whom it may concern.
Top Notch
has been an OEM of many major players for years & for a actual reason ;) thank you SuperFlower & NewEgg \♥/
