Great case, but not perfect.

LIAN LI PC-V1020R Red Aluminum ATX Mid Tower Computer Case
LIAN LI PC-V1020R Red Aluminum ATX Mid Tower Computer Case

Pros: 1. Red 2. Very polished, nice build quality 3. Tooless mechanisms work well 4. Well thought out design 5. Nice, thick aluminum panels

Cons: 1. DVD bezel button may not reach DVD Drive. The DVD bezel it comes with is a nice touch, since it would've been a pain to have to buy separate bezels just to cover up your ugly DVD drive. But the problem is the drives mount just a touch too far back, and by default the buttons on the bezel can't be pushed to touch the button on the DVD drive :\ A simple solution is to put a piece of sticky foam on the DVD drive button, so the bezel button can reach it. 2. Mobo tray somewhat hard to slide in/out For some reason, it never wants to cooperate at the last bit when you push it in. Not a big deal, just gotta do it slowly. 3. Mobo tray unable to open/close with H50 cooler One corner of the radiator on the H50 will conflict with the back panel. You can mount it inside the case, but it will have to be removed before you can slide the mobo tray in or out. 4. HDD cage is one piece (can't remove only top or bot half) Would be nice to have a half-cage for more airflow 5. Ex

Overall Review: This is a very nice case with some flaws, both design wise and build wise, that prevents it from being perfect for me. It comes with all the polish and pomp of any top end Lian Li case, and the red anodizing is very rich and well done. I mostly talked about the cons, since the Lian Li brand speaks for itself. One thing though, all the pictures I've seen online (and even some of my own) shows a pinkish hue in the case, but that is not the case (har har). The color is very much red in person, so worry not. Overall, I really like this case and I enjoyed working in it. Each nitpick I named can be overcome by a making few simple changes. Use a piece of sticky foam on the DVD drive easily solves the bezel problem, using a different cooler than the H50 solves the mobo tray problem, and Lian Li sells a half HDD cage that won't block as much airflow from the top front fan. Though on a $300 case, I wish these were already addressed. But if you've got the money and red is your thing, g
