Reliable
Pros: Between 2 different builds for a client, I have used 12 of these drives. 7 in one and 5 in the other. Not a single one has failed yet, but I opted not to run them in a raid, since they really arent built for it. Definitely beats the 5 seagates I bought which 3 died within a week. *5400 rpm
Cons: *5400rpm
Overall Review: 5400 rpm is kinda both a con/pro. It helps drive life but hurts performance. In this case reliability was more of a concern. There are definitely better drives out there im sure, but I have had very good luck with this one in particular. The drives are used in a video surveillance server and are recording 24/7 which can be very hard on hard drives. These ones have seemed to be able to handle it, on systems with about 20 cameras. Much more and would most likely need a faster drive.
