runs awesome but a little warm
Pros: Runs great. I've overclocked it up to 2100 even though I didn't need to. But I just run it stock and it still goes up to 1949mhz. I game at 1080p so this card is kind of overkill. I came from an R9-270x so this was a great upgrade.
Cons: Only con is that it runs kind of hot. Temps have gotten up to 67c. I know that's not bad for the card but coming from a card that ran mid 50's for a couple summers it's a little change.
Overall Review: This card is awesome. I'm happy with my purchase. People are complaining about no SLI. Doesn't matter to me. I replaced the thermal paste on the card to see if it would help with temps. Used arctic silver 5. Made no difference. At least I know what it has and it's applied correctly. Runs Rainbow Six: siege, overwatch, battlefield 4 and battlefield 1 beta all on ultra. The GeForce experience is really cool to optimize your games for you. This is my first nvidia card since my 9500gt. I'm not a fanboy of either brand. I'm a fanboy of bang for the buck and this is it.
not bad... not outstanding
Pros: These things blast really well. I just use them for casual gaming. I sometimes play music through them.
Cons: I've owned them for over 2 years and ever since I've had them that i can remember the remote makes the left speaker cut out. If I apply pressure to the remote it will come back on. There is obviously a short somewhere.
Overall Review: These speakers are pretty decent especially for the price. Don't be mad if you get duds as you get what you pay for. I would buy them again.
very nice upgrade!!
Pros: It’s 1080p and 144hz. Coming from a 60hz ASUS this thing is great. It makes all of the games I play look really good and buttery smooth. Also, I got it on sale on Black Friday for 160 shipped. Came with a DisplayPort cable which is great. I was worried it wouldn’t come with one or only would come with an hdmi.
Cons: There is a small streak or something that looks like a small comet of gray pixels in the upper left corner of the screen. I’m not sure if it’s dead or stuck pixels But looks like it could be a mark on the underside of the screen film or whatever the term is for it. They still seem to change colors but it’s kinda distorted in that area. The length is maybe 1cm and maybe as wide as a pencil lead. It’s not worth it to try to RMA as it doesn’t really bother me. Only other con is the interface to adjust the picture. It’s not bad just takes some getting used to. I definitely had to adjust it to get in looking good. Going through the other settings is kinda awkward.
Overall Review: Being a TN panel I knew I would have to mess with it some to make it look right. The monitor is kinda bright. I didn’t change the brightness but I did lower the black or blue level setting. It’s one of their presets in there. It was at 5 I lowered it to 2 and it looks better. I play mostly at night with a nightstand lamp on next to my bed. My wife hasn’t complained about it being bright. COD BO4, BF1 and 5 and overwatch all look great on it. All in all I’m very happy with this monitor and for the price you really can’t beat it. I’m pushing it using a gtx 1060 6gb.
doesn't get easier
Pros: Opened it up, read the instructions, plugged it and hit the wps button on my router and the button on the tp link waited maybe a minute and it was done. Easy as anything.
Cons: None
Overall Review: I got this to get better wifi in my garage since it was a little spotty out there since my router is in my bedroom across the house. This thing did exactly what I wanted it to do. Setup was a breeze. Newegg came through on their shipping speed yet again. Ordered about noon and arrived the next day at 3. Doesn't get any better.
awesome card but a little warm
Pros: I upgraded from an R9 270x that was running rainbow six siege on medium and 50-60 fps now I run it on max and and lowest I've seen is about 81 fps when playing. In the menus in siege the fps stays at 60 fps but goes up once a match begins. Must be part of the nvidia optimized thing. This is my first nvidia card since I had a 9500gt. I also play overwatch on epic settings and seen about 130 something fps.
Cons: The only con I can say as this card runs warmer than my last. The hottest I've seen it get is 67c. I know that's not bad thermal wise but when my last card got up to only 56c it's a bit of a change.
Overall Review: Overall this card is great minus the heat difference from my last. This thing should last me a long time. I've never been a fanboy if either brand just seemed to end up with AMD the past couple times. Can't wait for battlefield 1 to see how it does. Just wanna give newegg some props for their shipping speed. I ordered this Wednesday night about 830pm and received it Friday. Of course I'm only about 3 hours away from their shipping facility.
pretty cool!!
Pros: The razer synapse program lets you customize the colors and dpi and sensitivity. The colors look cool. I bought to see if I get better accuracy in games like Counter Strike: Global Offensive and Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 and 3. It helped out somewhat. I really like the side buttons for melee attacks as well as just everyday web browsing.
Cons: none yet
Overall Review: I've read about the reliability and longevity of these mice. So i'll see how long this lasts. Hopefully its lasts as long or longer than my Logitech M110 $15 mouse :P
