Pros: Easy to install. Machine recognized upgrade right away. Old e-Machine running 512 mb of 333 Mz ram was upgraded to 2G 400 Mz. Lightning fast difference. Loaded and running in 5 min. Highly Recommend

Pros: Installation manual talks about 48bit Bios required to utilize more than 137GB of Drive. I immedialty broke out in a cold sweat, spent several hours trying to figure if I had that. Bought flash memory upgrade, from another vendor, with 11 pages of instructions I couldn't understand. Downloaded Bios but afraid to death to flash after reading instructions. Finally just connected drive, cloned 71GB from old drive, made new drive primary with cable switch. Works like a dream. Quiet as a misquito landing on a cotton ball.

Cons: Idiot installed upgrade and made simple task rocket science.

Overall Review: Just do it .... This is a wonderful drive.
