Pros: Amazing screen Lots of I/O ports Fingerprint reader Great touchpad Two m.2 slots and up to 64gb ram

Cons: Doesn't seem well protected on the bottom (can literally see the ram) Gigabyte Control Center is horrible Hinges work well but feel slightly flimsy

Overall Review: Would highly recommend this laptop, but do yourself a favor and start with a fresh copy of Wiindows. First, use their USB backup tool to make a factory backup. The only important thing worth saving is the display profiles (.icc) which contain the Pantone calibration. These can be found on the backup usb in the Gigabyte folder.. Then the product key is stored in the motherboard generally so you can just pop a different USB with Windows (must be secure boot capable) on it in and erase all. Drivers are available on the Gigabyte website but be mindful to install drivers only for certain things to avoid bloatware. Don't forget about Intel UHD graphics drivers. Windows does a pretty good job of finding the drivers anyway. The Gigabyte Control Center idea is cool, but it's implementation sucks, it unnecessarily causes my fan to sound like a jet engine, and it can never remember my keyboard settings, and destroys battery life. Personally I've had great results gaming letting Windows control my fan and controlling the keyboard with the Gigabyte Fusion utility for a different Aero laptop https://www.gigabyte.com/Laptop/AERO-15--i7-7700HQ/support#support-dl-driver-utility . With the specs it has, it's been such a great bang for my buck. Red Dead 2 looks absolutely amazing in 4k 60fps as does Horizon Zero Dawn. AutoCAD loads like a dream with the gen 4 nvme drive and my additional 2tb nvme.
