excellent field history

Pros: reliable power supply with no maintenance requirements. Survives 90v to 130v power swing without issue in over 100 installations
Cons: fan is two wire hardwired to internal board. No easy replacement in dusty or hazardous environments
Overall Review: low cost solution provider to commercial unit field support
server issues

Pros: 2u rackmount with easy install. Front panel visuals are good
Cons: will not sync with NVidia, ATi, or GeForce. We had to remove two units from WIN Server 2003 installs. Unit could NOT support server units. No SYNC on PS/2
Overall Review: documentation was just marketing sales tool. no technical info supplied for trouble shoot.

Inexpensive, basic

Pros: inexpensive solution for small business, easy GUI by category, simple setup, low maintenance, a good unit to get the customer used to easy SSL [by IP] access on a static IP setup . . Primarily business professionals for us in Detroit area. .
Cons: reboot required every 7 days on avg to 'refresh' access from bad log-off users, sensitive to line instability on DSL vs Broadband cable. I have multiple units in-the-field for clientelle support. . and average a replacement about every 12 mo for heavy users. .
Overall Review: does not always ship with latest firmware. Sensitive to unstable elec activity [ loss of firmware with a single surge] even though AVR/UPS protected. Locks out user if user goes OVER allotted time, no system release for re-entry. .
