Works and its cheap

ENCORE ENUWI-G2 Wireless Adapter IEEE 802.11b/g USB 2.0 Up to 54Mbps Wireless Data Rates
ENCORE ENUWI-G2 Wireless Adapter IEEE 802.11b/g USB 2.0 Up to 54Mbps Wireless Data Rates

Pros: quick and easy connection, came with an extension, does what it's supposed to, good solution for the price. Confirmed after 10 mins of constant use, item does not get hot. It's made of plastic not aluminum so obviously like any electronic device from normal operation it might get slightly warm but nothing to worry about or affect performance. Manufacturer lists operating temps publicly so there is nothing to hide here. Drivers online from website for 32/64bit vista platforms.

Cons: it's bulky (width) not really a con since there's a picture to see that from, and it has an extension to counter that.

Overall Review: well if i wanted something that was prettier i would have paid more, but i didn't because I'm a man and i could care less what it looks like, and i wasn't going to wasted money on an unnecessary characteristic. Connected on 1 node on a another floor and it worked fine, also connected on another over 100ft away with 2 walls in between still 54mbps excellent, and finally in another building completely, same result. it's plastic, so try to be a noob and step on it or it probably won't work as it should, but that's common sense. Transferred 16GB's of data no drops or losses.

Keep temps cooler longer than Gelid Extreme

Pros: the package comes with a spreader, produces very low temps, and keeps low for a long time. Compared to Gelid Extreme I noticed it held temps longer and didn't need to be re-applied every 6 months.

Cons: nothing really, some might say it's pricey, but you get what you pay for, I think it's fair.

Overall Review: Normally I would say if you use a pea size drop for your CPU, you should be able to cover 4-5 CPUs with this 1 gram tube. On my Dual Intel Xeon E5-2643 V2's I was able to use good size pea drops and even cover the heatsinks with a layer because of the ridges and grooves on the transfer plates. Purchased and shipped by Newegg on 6/19, sold by Corn Electronics, arrived on 6/24. Paid $7.67

good for the price

Great for the price

EVEREX Desktop PC gPC2 TC2512 VIA C7-D 1.50GHz 512MB DDR2 80GB HDD VIA UniChrome Pro Linux gOS V2
EVEREX Desktop PC gPC2 TC2512 VIA C7-D 1.50GHz 512MB DDR2 80GB HDD VIA UniChrome Pro Linux gOS V2

Pros: Excellent price point, lightweight, upgradeable (memory, HD, PCI graphics), super quiet and cool, nice keyboard with soft strokes, nice scroll wheel mouse. Energy efficient at only 20 watts! and quiet at 28 dbs. For somebody just wanting a basic computer to perform basic tasks this is your answer. Easy instructions on how to set it up right out of the box. Nice color scheme, everything matches. Everything you need, nothing you don't. Plenty of USB ports (total 6) for printer, webcam, speakers, mp3 players, digital cameras. Plenty of HD space, seems to multitask well in XP, easy to install drivers after installing xp with the everex site download drivers section, just dl them to a flash drive.

Cons: no agp, or pci-e slots that i know of at a glance, but check with the manufacturer to be sure, but it's not really geared towards gaming anyway for the price. However this isn't a setback cause you can still purchase a 256mb card for under $50 and problem solved. So really for the price and your desired customer this isn't really an issue, otherwise there really isn't anything bad about this computer at all, I just wanted to point that out since it's never revealed. MORE PRO'S: Everex has a nice site with alot of support, and even a forum where you can ask questions and talk to other owners and share info and help. Pair it up with a widescreen flat panel monitor and the graphics will keep up and look very nice! If your concerned about heat inside the case you shouldn't be since it's not really creating any, but if your paranoid, just add a couple case fans for under $10! screwless pci cards feature is nice and easy to work with.

Overall Review: Never gave the stock O/S a try, just installed windows xp, and office 2007. and all the regular programs most people would need for a home pc (email, web surfing, antivirus, watching videos, maybe burning a cd, and photo emailing). Set virtual memory to 4096mb, defrag, selective startup, and computer runs smooth. I would personally max out the ram, so that it could fly through everything, and to upgrade it's only: $10-512mb $20-1gb $37-2g why wouldn't you want to!! under $200 for a pc? and super fast 3 day shipping=amazing!!
