Corsair makes it right

Corsair Gaming Audio Series SP2500 High-power 2.1 PC Speaker System
Corsair Gaming Audio Series SP2500 High-power 2.1 PC Speaker System

Pros: Update to previous review. Corsair listens and takes action. My previous con was resolved, I was sent longer audio cables for the left and right speakers. They also replaced my contol unit when it flaked out without hassle, and only asked for the broken one back so they could examine how it failed, on their dime, after I received the new one.

Cons: Resolved.

Great sound, Serious Cable Issue

Corsair Gaming Audio Series SP2500 High-power 2.1 PC Speaker System
Corsair Gaming Audio Series SP2500 High-power 2.1 PC Speaker System

Pros: Excellent audio with Titanium HD out of the box, even better with tweaking your audio's source sound shaping. I'm not a fan of control extensions on my desk, but this unit has a control extension done right and I love it. All around, this is good for music, gaming, anything.

Cons: 1st: I require a clean desk. Which leads to the 3 egg review due to the following issue. Very short audio cables, and they are proprietary at that. I am extremely disappointed at how this has limited the placement of the sub. Should have 8 foot cables at least. I've no where to place this on the floor due to this shortcoming. Even the power cord is too short, but thankfully a standard PC cord will still work even though it doesn't require the grounded plug.

Overall Review: Corsair, I know your staff reads these reviews and take them seriously. I hope you reconsider these audio cables, and offer to exchange longer cables to those of us who have shelled out top dollar for this excellent system. I have a sub 2 feet to my right, and the cable barely reaches my left speaker. I will even send you a picture of my workspace to illustrate how ridiculous it is. This would make a 3 egg review into a 5 egg. I'd rather not go through the trouble of splicing in my own wiring to the proprietary connectors.

Excellent

Koutech CBL-PSA512V-100 5V/12V Power Over eSATA cable with SATA HDD Adapter
Koutech CBL-PSA512V-100 5V/12V Power Over eSATA cable with SATA HDD Adapter

Pros: These are far superior to externally powered docks. I purchased 10 of these for my employees to use for data recovery and troubleshooting HBDE. Tossed out our combersome docks. Really shines since you do not have to dissassemble a hard drive shell common in laptops to fit in a dock. Also no need for external power source.

Cons: Vendors do not usually advertise if their ports are esatap (hp or dell business models confirmed). Buy one to test first if you need many like I did.

Overall Review: We've taken our external usb hard drives out of their shells to use with these for the performance boost esata offers. Be sure your external is sata inside before you void warranty!

Motorola Over-The-Head Stereo Bluetooth Headset Black Bulk with 20 Hours Talk Time/Noise Cancelling Technology (S805)
Motorola Over-The-Head Stereo Bluetooth Headset Black Bulk with 20 Hours Talk Time/Noise Cancelling Technology (S805)

Pros: Used it for teleconference in car on highway, road noise stayed out of my ears and was also not heard by the other conference attendees. Best headset i've owned for music listening on my iPad and phone.

Cons: Doesn't work while charging.

Overall Review: Haven't tested with my PS3.

Sturdy

Griffin AC Wall Charger for Apple iPhone, iPad
Griffin AC Wall Charger for Apple iPhone, iPad

Pros: Sturdier than Apple origional. Purchaded on sale for good price. The Newegg Partner selling the product was just as fast as Newegg. Matches my black iPad and case.

Cons: None.

Excellent

Corsair Primal Gaming Audio HS1A 3.5mm Connector Circumaural Gaming Headset
Corsair Primal Gaming Audio HS1A 3.5mm Connector Circumaural Gaming Headset

Pros: Better than the USB version when paired with a high end audio card. Extended to max, it fits my large head perfectly. The extra, smooth texture cup are a nice touch that is absent from the USB version. I prefer to the smooth texture over the plush ones than came out of box on both HS1 and HS1A.

Cons: Audio enthusiasts will need a high end audio card for this to shine. Since this an analog unit, you rely on you own audio codec to fill the cups with audio enhancing effects. Thus its greatest strength is also a 100-200 dollar weakness. Expensive if you just want a gaming headset.

Overall Review: I did not list this as a con since I haven't tested its strength. The inline control unit feels cheap compared to the the HS1. I'm concerned it could pull apart if an accident were to occur. Unless you have a high end sound card, get tha HS1. Corsair's USB codec and driver are excellent. Note that I own both the HS1 and HS1A, each for its own purpose.
