BlacX without the bad rebate

Pros: Well engineered, built to last, well placed on/off switch, easy to remove the drive, substantial weight. I have tried many of these and found some too light and some play for keeps with the drive or hardly hold the drive at all. This is just right.
Cons: Short power cable. If you use anything but a newer cool-running drive aim a fan at the drive as hot drives get hot even in the open air. No problem using WD or Samsung 5400rpm drives, I would have no problem leaving them on this all day.
Overall Review: This is identical to the Thermaltake BlacX without the expensive name, thankfully it was also without the Thermaltake rebates which I have had one declined due to postal error and one just lost and no chance of resubmission. Get this and be done.
Great picture/Bad stripe/Strange speakers

Pros: If you have stray room light as I do, this has a high matte screen that is very effective at reducing glare, it's why I bought it. This does affect the sharpness a bit as it will but I need and like it. The HD picture is great with 120hz on. The art deco styling looks fantastic in a room. It was lighter than I expected, around 45lbs. I was able to carry it upstairs alone to try it in the bedroom.
Cons: Mine arrived with the darned 1/4" gray stripe right in the center of the screen. What is with that? I called the LG service center here and they said it would require a new panel with a two week wait. The speakers are invisible all right but they appear to fire downwards that results in some extra reflection that makes them sound strange but they work for the rare time that they will be used.
Overall Review: I like the thinness of the cabinet but the screen sure does heat up quick, I think the proximity of the bulbs to the panel and less airflow result in the greater heat, the thicker LG70 did not get as hot.
Better in every way than the original but with a new issue

Pros: Better design with higher power and better parts in a smaller package than OEM
Cons: OEM supply had fan at the back of the supply pushing air through the supply and out the back, this one has it at the back of the supply which works better for cooling but the fan is loud and you will hear it always.
Overall Review: I prefer the fan being at the back but it needs to be a quieter fan than this for a five star review.
Added a fan

Pros: Small card, cheap but only if the rebate goes through.
Cons: Overheated on me so I added a fan from an old card, the fan socket was right on board for it. The rebate process seems designed to be tough, I did everything very carefully and I will be watching this one like a hawk.
Amazing cool speed

Pros: Seems to break the rules by offering great graphics performance while remaining cool and quiet. Replaced my previous favorite card an EVGA GTX260 (216). Running Crysis 2 with the new DX11 and huge texture patches, plays well on ultra settings out of the box. Folds 10,700 PPD oob.
Cons: Though efficient heatsink and fans keep the GPU cool it still dumps heat and does so into the case, I wish more were expelled outside the case. Other than that this is like having alien technology.
Overall Review: I will be watching the rebate and if it is disqualified for any silly reason I will give new meaning to Hawk Talon Attack.
Cool, quiet, vast, blue

Pros: Exact replacement for a friend's laptop that crashed when it was dropped. Not the drive's fault. After an easy installation and restore it ran quietly and quickly as before.
Cons: The BPVT model went on sale the same week I bought this, I went for original replacement BEVT but it would have been nice to have tried the advanced format model especially when it was five bucks cheaper. No big deal.
Two USB 3 hubs delivered promptly
I have been using their hubs for some time to switch off my Oculus headset when not used, others either wore out or did not work properly but these look and work great
