Simple to Install
So far, reliable
In terms of speed, I'm the quickest to load no matter what the game is. If this is your first SSD, that itself will be a tremendous improvement over spinning hard drives.
Boot time from mobo splash screen is about 5s, which is pretty equal to my SSD from 2 years ago.
Overall Review: I read other reviews before purchasing and did NOT do any Firmware upgrades. Simply plug in, quick format, and start using. If installing your OS on this onto a new build, it's even more straight forward.
I now own two of these.
The only thing I'm skeptical about is the 10 year warranty, but it is also one of the reasons why I bought them.
Pros: This is the same fan as the ones that ship in the Fractal R5 case. So if you wanted to add more fans and keep the sleek look, these are them.
Also, they should be labeled as silent as I can't hear them even at max speed.
Overall Review: It's not a con, but I was very impressed by the amount of hardware I received with the R5 case that I was expecting long and short screws with these fans. They only supply the short chubby screws with these fans. Not a con, but I had high expectations since they supplied a good amount with the case.
Pros: Works as advertised.
Overall Review: I have the silver/gray/metallic colored model. Looks and works great. I've always chosen Corsair for my memory and I've never had problems.
Pros: Excellent graphics card with excellent closed loop cooling.
Overall Review: A few thoughts:
Installing the card is very straight forward. The length of tubing allows me to mount the radiator to the rear, top, and I think bottom of case (Case is Fractal Design R5). I'm not sure what other people complain about with closed loop bubbling noises. I only heard noises for the first 1/2 hour and the computer has been on ever since then.
I waited 2 months trying to get this. SOOOOOOOOO happy that I finally got it.
Th EVGA software is awesome. I didn't like how I had to create an account on their website just to download it. It's getting annoying creating accounts for EVERYTHING.
