actually this IS a nice keyboard
Pros: excellent tactile feel and response in this Logitech K120 USB wired keyboard
Cons: none to mention
Overall Review: we all (in IT Land) spend a lot of time on and with a keyboard - this one has garnered compliments from a lot of staff since we began to use them. i'm very happy. btw this came in a set along with a wired USB mouse that seems to get it done. the mouse is just a bit on the small size for a guy but the ladies seem to 'heart' it.
interesting little graphics puppy of a card
Pros: short and sweet card format fits virtually every case size doesn't require an extra power cable but you should have +_ 400 W PS also i'd suggest adding sufficient vent fans as the GPU vents inside your case
Cons: just an average GPU card these days
Overall Review: we use the PNY card in one of our datastore systems Win 8.1 works fine. these things are setup with every SATA channel filled with a SSD, HDD or DVD so our focus isn't on graphics this card is fine for the W8.1 desktop and browsing and most every normal non gamer application or non multiscreen HD application. very happy with this btw
question - RAIDMAX Helios ATX-819WB
Pros: question about the top rear mounted 120mm fan...
Cons: question about the fan top rear
Overall Review: does the top panel remove enough to allow good access through the fan cutout on the top back end/ none of the videos i saw on YouTube or NewEgg show that feature. the case appears riveted in place along the top frame joints. i'd assume another fan could be placed there but not sure if the space allows a water cool fan with radiator in the area upper inside ?
own this. great features. couldn't get it to boot.
Pros: Install on security system datastore platform with .16TB. Had. A Crucial SSD .480GB. .32GB. RAM. INTEL LGA1150 4 80 CPU. MOTHER BOARD has 2 .NIC. ports which this application requires. Specs seem suitable but even trying other known good properly rated memory our shop couldn't get beyond the error 55 cannot install memory stage for BIOS testing. If anyone wants this board with box and contents just get to me here with a comment etc and I'll mail postpaid it to you. Perhaps we are making an obvious mistake but a Google search showed a lot of this for others. Board and everything is free to someone who can use it or the various connectors included by EVGA.
Cons: All the above.
Overall Review: Free to a good home.
ordered -2- of these Oct2013
Pros: first week of use.... charging time 5 hrs seems in line with product ad... fits well as snapon rear case protection with side edges and accessory access cutouts for the S4. minimal weight added design seems compact and accurately made battery mini USB prong lined up correctly with cellphone female USB port fit
Cons: not sure if this is a real Con but the case is very smooth. finish is about that of a waxed glass surface. this means the phone wants to move away from the hand. I strongly suggest some form of antislip finish or stick on rubber patch to keep it from being dropped! I have noticed this a lot and it is important if the phone is handled while moving, walking, or outdoors.
Overall Review: my S4 badly needed extra battery life. I use it hard and long each day and the HD screen sucks a tremendous amount of battery power in use. actually I ordered -2- of these. use one as an extra add on backup battery with a charged ready to use spare #2 when I travel. the cases aren't that heavy or bulky and I keep the extra in a coat pocket or vest pocket. the battery in these cases seems sealed into the case...not sure if they can be removed or replaced so it's likely the case is a tosser if the battery goes South. charges with the usual S4 power cable and USB prongs I have now which is good.
a lot of HD security for the money
Pros: we've had exccellent reliability with the other Vivotek cams here.... especially those supported by QNAP and Blue Iris systems. this one is going to be installed at a receiving dock in a truck warehouse.... we expect to have it working right off. product is very well made engineered for substantial extremes of temperature and exposure... have worked two years in Eastern USA weather all ambient temps.
Cons: sometimes back order status short stock
