Great gaming laptop

Pros: Great upgrade from my older (9 month old y550) -Intel Core i5 -GT 555M 1gb -Button to turn on/disable integrated/dedicated -6GB RAM OVERCLOCK ABLE!!!! This laptop runs EVERYTHING on high settings (game wise) SC2 Runs @ MAX RES on HIGH/ULTRA settings at 100+ FPS most of the game and 60+ FPS in fights with ALOT of units in 4v4 matches Scored - 10,103 Points in 3dmark06 with stock clocks Scored - 11,700 Points Overclocked!!! THE SPEAKERS ARE AMAZING. They actually have bass and get VERY loud. I feel like i have my logitech 5.1 hooked up when i watch a movie on this laptop, they are definitely first class VERY LIGHT and STURDY! Excellent build quality on this laptop for sure
Cons: nothing that would stop me from buying it!!! but.. Too much bloatware 5400RPM may be a bottleneck Purplish tint to the part of the laptop that is brushed aluminum it seems...but it is silver(?) keyboard (not bad) but, I prefer my old y550 keyboard to it,they tried to smash in the full keyboard with number pad when they should have just put the proper keyboard with no number pad in it or atleast not have spacing between the keys!
Overall Review: My only grip about this is that I did not know at first about the button that disabled/enabled the dedicated graphics card. At first this was very frustrating because everything i tried to play (game wise) ran terrible. So i redid it, to get rid of the bloatware, and while inspecting further..tada! found the button!. It is on the FRONT it slides left to right and glows white when the GT555 is enabled!
Not so good anymore

Pros: GT555M Core i5 6gb Ram 750GB HD Screen Hybrid Graphics Lenovo It was nice while it lasted. This thing was a true desktop replacement until it started to fall apart.
Cons: This is a laptop that looks nice on paper. When i first got this laptop it was fantastic, It would run every single game that I had on MAX and rip the fps to shreds, not so much anymore. Maybe I did not notice it at first but the laptop has a terrible problem with CPU and GPU throttling. When Running SC2 my FPS will drop from 100+ to 1-3 (according to the sc2 built in fps) If i alt tab i will see that he CPU has dropped from 2.w/e ghz to a mere 789mhz... Does this in almost every thing. It also runs SOOOO hot. This is the first laptop that I actually NEEDED a cooling pad for. Here as i am typing this I am running on balanced and the GT555M is disabled and the fan is blowing boiling hot air, why? No freaking clue, There is no dust stuck in the fan because I looked. One day I left it on my table (made of wood) nice flat surface so it could breath, I got back (3 hours or so )picked it up and it was absolutely on fire and the heat sink grill broke.
Overall Review: Like i said earlier this laptop looks good on paper, it will destroy everything except a laptop that costs twice as much but the way it over-heats and stutters/lags randomly in games is completely unacceptable. My warranty will be up in 2 months and I cannot send it in untill this semester of college is done because it is my only computer. That is if they will even take it because of the broken grill thanks to the heat that spews out of it.
Very Nice Laptop

Pros: + Intel Core i7-3610QM + Nvidia GeForce GTX 660M w/i 2gb DDR5 Ram + 8GB Ram + 1TB HD + 720P Screen is much improved over previous Y models + Backlit Keyboard This laptop is just fantastic. The over-all build is superb and much better than my previous Y570 and Y550p. The base screen (they now offer a 1920x1080 model) 1366x768 is very vibrant and everything looks very nice on it. The backlit keyboard is a nice touch, as well as a all black brushed aluminum feel case (ridged and sturdy) Now on to hardware.. This CPU is BLAZING Fast. Destroys an previous CPU that I have had (even in desktop form) Turbo boosts to 3.1GHZ like it should and when needed. CPU Scored 6400 on 3dmark06 and 21K on 3dmark Vantage (impressive numbers) in comparison my previous Core i5 2410M scored 3500 in 3dmark06. The GTX 660M is just fantastic, and the fact that its keplar based is even better. Stock clocks are 835Mhz Core and 1250 memory (dont remember shaders off top of my head) This gpu run
Cons: Hard Drive is a bit slow @ 5400 RPM, But there is an open mSata slot for a SSD which allows SSD + the 1TB spindle drive
Overall Review: Continuation of PROS: I can run SC2 on ULTRA and average 50+ with everything and I mean everything on max, and it never dips below 50, Ever, It even starts around 110 and in most games stays above 70. The bets thing is the GPU Never goes above 55C EVER, this may not seem like a PRo but my previous Y570 ran all the way up to 90c then stuttered,
Very nice

Pros: I bought this card literal 2 days ago and its a beast. THe 512MB makes me feel much better about its low price. 320 stream processors? Thats alot for a sub 220 dollar video card and thats even alot for a 500$ vid card!, the geforce 8800gt only has 112. This card can easily keep up with my freinds 8800gts and infact it beat it in 3dMark06 (score 12,780) This is by far the best video card i have ever owned for $210. IF you dont have the money or dont want to waste your money on a 8800gt then get this it will definitly be worth your while System Specs: AMD ATHLON 6400+ Overclocked 3.4GHZ Radeon 3750 512MB 2GB DDR2 800MHZ RAm 600watt SLI Certified PSU Nvidia Nforce 570 SLI MOBO
Cons: None
Overall Review: I wish ATI would come out with Better drives i mean come on this card has the same amount of ram as teh 8800gt and over 3x as many Stream processors but its about the same.
