New Life for Old Box!

Pros: Add a Cedar Mill Celeron-D, 1 gig mem and ZOOM! Old MB had died, HDD and DVD drive fine. Don't do games, so can't comment on that but for my use (e-mail, Open Office, Skype etc) running Ubuntu V7.10 OS, is great! As always, Mewegg cust. svc/shipping can't be beat!!
Cons: Retail, but NO hardware for mounting (standoffs, screws, etc) MB in case.
Overall Review: Easy install after you find some standoffs and screws. Great instructions for anyone at any tech level.
Amazing

Pros: Sensitive tuner (I watch poor man's TV with an antenna), excellent sound, great video - DVD player works like a charm on all media I have inserted. I have also used it as a monitor for my computer with amazing results.
Cons: The stand does not allow tilt or swivel.
Excellent!

Pros: Ironically has more sensitivity for signals with the little "stick" than my indoor amplified antenna! No glitches, easy to install, and works like a charm on my Methuselah bed room TV (old tube type). I love the fact that I can plug in my headset to it, and the audio quality is great. Responds to the remote, even with a "bank shot" off the wall. Excellent value for the money!
Cons: The blue led is way too bright! I put a piece of tape over it so it wouldn't blind me. I know when it's on without that......
Overall Review: Not the first DTV adapter I've had, but by far the best!
Excellent Teacher!

Pros: Needed to learn Spanish (Mexican dialect) in a hurry. This is an excellent way to do it. Had conversational skills in about 4 hours of study/practice. Great product! If I was going to move to Mexico, I would go thru the entire course.
Cons: Nada = none
Overall Review: Be nice if the pkg. was all on DVD. Changing disks gets to be a pain.
New Life for OLD BOX!

Pros: Excellent choice for upgrade in older boxes - (just did u/g to 1.2Ghz AMD w/.75 gig ram) The 7200 rpm/8mb cache improves performance considerably - quiet, runs much cooler than Maxtor 40Gb.
Cons: None!
Overall Review: If you don't know what you are doing and run any flavour of Windoze - buy the RETAIL version with the CD and instruction manual so U can set up the drive and transfer ALL files (including boot sector) if you plan to use it as a boot drive! PS: Ubuntu Linux is free and blows the doors off that other op sys!
