perfectly adequate for ML240L
Pros: perfectly adequate for the ML240L-RGB-V2. posts are correct height.
Overall Review: perfectly adequate
PoE outside access point is super easy to setup
Pros: I was intimidated by the sophistication of the TP-Link Omada WiFi infrastructure. Instead, this unit came configured out-of-the-box as a single access point bridging its WiFi network to the wired LAN. There was no complexity and no port forwarding for external access. I used the TP-Link TL-SF1005P PoE switch to power it and the port priority feature of the switch.
Cons: It can't be installed upside down and maintain waterproofing.
Overall Review: Great, cheap, simple, powerful
good, cheap, small, solid PoE 4K surveillance camera
Pros: I installed 2 of these and am happy with the quality and features. Ran one 80 feet from PoE switch inc coupler without problem. It works well with it's mobile app.
Cons: UPDATED 4++>5 eggs after further use. The documentation is minimal, making it quite difficult & time consuming to integrate into the Synology Surveillance Station. Part of the problem is that Synology's profile for this camera doesn't work. But most network/stream features are turned off in the camera by default. The camera continually streams SD & 4K. The Surveillance Station only records the lowest quality "SD" stream in "home" mode and 4K only in "away" mode. The camera is behaving correctly.
Overall Review: This camera works well, but integration with the Synology Surveillance Station is not easy.
perfect little PoE switch for four 4K surveillance cameras
Pros: 4K Surveillance cameras do not require (and probably don't support) gigabit ethernet. The 100Mbps uplink is adequate for the aggregate bandwidth from 4 cameras. The port priority function is a nice feature when attaching a wireless access point to port 1.
Cons: DC power cable is only ~4 feet long. A high power DC cable extension might be needed.
Overall Review: Yes, I would recommend it and purchase it again.
difficult for first time builder
Pros: good specs & price
Cons: useless pictures only instructions for first time builder. an experienced builder would not have trouble. specifically, I didn't know if both PSU side connectors for ATX cable were to be connected. impossible to get support from their chatbot and hard to search for answers.
Overall Review: useless instructions for first time builder
good & affordable
Pros: good & affordable
Cons: LGA1700 bracket not in older packaging. Instructions are pictures only, but adequate.
Overall Review: good & affordable
