Insanely Awesome
Pros: Amazing card. EASILY overclocked to the specs of the GIGABYTE GV-N26SO-896I card (Saved myself $30 bucks doing so). In fact, it oc'd past that card with no issues. Idles cool at 45'C. Overclocked and playing MW2 at max everything for an hour left it running at 70'C with the fan at 40% (Couldnt even hear it!!!). This card absolutely slaughters every game I have in my possession...MW2, FO3 (AMAZING), Bioshock, HL2 and all its mods, L4D2, Empire Total War, etc. (Gunna put it to the test with crysis soon)
Cons: None with the card. Gigabyte's OC utility looked ok but it didnt work for me. Im guessing it didnt work because im using the most recent drivers for the card or because im on Win7 64bit. Since im running Win7 64bit, im using EVGA Precision which is easy as pie.
Overall Review: I've always bought nvidia cards and usually tried to stick with the popular brands (BFG, EVGA, etc.). I was skeptical at first with gigabyte but when I really look at it, this card is better built materials-wise and outperforms the other brands even at stock settings. Best GPU buy i've ever made. NOTE: Card is big but easily fit in my relatively small case. Make sure you have TWO PCI-e 6pin connectors!! Also, in my honest opinion there is no need for SLI with one of these bad boys. That is unless you like throwing cash away. Current Setup: AMD Phenom II 925 x4 @ 2.8ghz 8 gig ram gtx 260 OC'd
