Runs a bit hot for me

Pros: Good combo price Was able to get stable at 1.5v 1866Mhz
Cons: Consistently ran at 1.683-1.687v using XMP
Overall Review: Using an ASUS Z97-A motherboard I consistently got 1.683-1.687 volts using the 2400 MHz XMP profiles. I really don't need 2400 MHz and I don't want to run the voltages that high, so I played around to see how fast I could get these to go at 1.5v. XMP 2440 1.65v (actual 1.683-1.687v) 2400 10-12-12-31 2t Memory Latency: 48.0 These were all stable at 1.5v: (actual 1.53v) 1600 9-9-9-24 1t Memory Latency: 56.1 1600 8-8-8-24 1t Memory Latency: 54.1 1866 9-10-9-28 1t Memory Latency: 51.9 1866 8-9-9-24 1t Memory Latency: 50.5 I use the last one as it gets me pretty close to the 2400 XMP but runs at a much more comfortable 1.5v.
Can't Print from Mac over Network

Pros: Seems great attached to my Win 7 machine, performs well with general printer tasks. I can even print to this from my iPad via Google Cloud Print.
Cons: 1. Evidently the Canon printer driver fails when trying to print from a mac over a network to the D420 hooked up to a windows machine. Several posts on the web confirmed this is an unresolved issue. 2. Two sided printing fails due to page not aligning correctly when printing the second side.
Overall Review: If you don't have a Mac trying to use this printer over a network to this printer attached to a windows machine, and you don't want to print duplex, then you're fine.
Blown Away - Brilliant Design

Pros: I would like to begin with a few things that might seem trivial but I think show the level of thought and attention that went into designing this case (i.e. Bon Jovi's Brown M&Ms - if you don't know the reference Google it.) The case comes with a little box for the parts. Each set of screws has it's own right sized little bag, and all of the screws are high quality and painted black to match the case. There are even a whole bunch of extra black thumb screws which are quite rare to get extras of. But here's the thing that got me - the little box for the parts is a weird size, not your usual little square brown cardboard box. Then it dawned on me - the box is the same size as a hard drive and slides neatly into an unused bay, it's even black to match the case. No more hunting for the case parts - they're right there neatly and unobtrusively stored an a bay - brilliant! Other wonderful things: The case is amazingly roomy for its size, it's almost like an optical illusion. I'm coming from a Storm Scout and when I put the two side by side and you'd think they are about the same size, but open them up and there's no comparison. I always struggled with the Scout, especially around the edges of the motherboard where the SATA and power cables go and also behind the motherboard, whereas the Midi is perfect with large grommet holes to run cables and with room above and below a standard ATX board to run cables without having to remount the MB. I was seriously considering going full size so I'd never have to fuss with tightness, but this case has all the room in the world in a mid sized design - so happy! I hate dust and the dust cover system on this case makes me want to weep with joy - top/front/psu filters, all removable. The front fan is mounted in the middle of the case which is a much better position dust-wise than a bottom mounted fan. The feet look like they belong on a high end stereo receiver - very, very classy. Oh, and by the way, the case is gorgeous. The look is very refined, mature, and runs a beautiful balance between elegance and extreme seriousity. My build went super smooth and I really enjoyed it - all the little things were so well thought out. If you appreciate intelligent engineering, this case will give you that warm happy feeling of owning a machine that borders on art. 10 Stars!
Cons: Just a couple of suggestions for the next version of this great box: I would love it if I could swap the locations of the bays and just have the five bay box mounted at the bottom - this would add a lot of flexibility and allow the middle space to be left empty for better air flow. Also, more tie down positions behind the motherboard would be nice - especially above/below and to the right of the heat sink cutout. Lastly, it would be better if the PSU filter slid out to the side, most cases are positioned such that having the room to remove the filter backward is awkward. The above are totally just my personal preferences and should no way deter you from buying this case and paying extra to have it over-nighted to you so you won't have to wait another day for the joy this case brings.
Overall Review: You'd have a fight on your hands it you tried to take this case from me.
Not for kids

Pros: Light, thin, sturdy, great call reception, charge lasts five days on standby. Price!
Cons: No fancy pictures, your microwave has a better screen. No google search, iphone apps, gps, accelerometer, or anything else invented after 1990.
Overall Review: Here's the deal, if you are under 35 years of age you will hate this phone. If you grew up on "mobile devices" with lots of features and pretty pictures, then this phone is a joke and you'll send it back. On the other hand, if you are old enough to remember when a phone was just a phone, and you just want a phone, you'll love this little baby. It's a tough little son of a gun that makes calls and that's about it. I'm 49 and I love this phone since the alternative was paying AT&T $100 for a phone whose features I didn't need, or locking in for another two years, which wasn't going to happen again.
