Very nice no frills mechanical gaming keyboard

Pros: cherry mx brown switches give a great experience in typing as well as gaming solid construction won't slide around on your desk without your permission dedicated media controls software is user friendly no unnecessary wasted space, just a basic keyboard layout
Cons: documentation does not cover key combinations to switch lighting modes without software media keys have a rather loud click
Overall Review: This is my first mechanical keyboard, I spend a fair bit of time drooling over them and trying out a few different models and ended up choosing this one because i didn't want a row of macro keys i would never use and wanted dedicated media keys. The backlighting has plenty of options with the software and a handful for those who don't want the software, if you want to go the no software route the keyboard defaults to a lightwave effect that is very annoying and holding the backlight key while pressing the number keys (i forget exactly which range of keys and the individual effects but 1 is solid backlight), if you choose software you'll be pleased at the level of customization as every lighted element can be adjusted including the caps/num/scroll lock indicators which by default are a tad brighter than i prefer, if i were to have any criticism about controlling the lights with the software it would be the brightness control can be tricky to get the happy medium at times there are no o-rings or other sound dampening measures on this keyboard so bottoming the keys will come with a very noticable clack... o-rings can always be installed to reduce this though i found with o-rings the G610 is still a little louder than the G710+ which also uses MX browns but comes with preinstalled o-rings overall a great keyboard i'd give it a 5 but the loudness of the media keys is worth pulling back at least half an egg but since i can't do half...
patiently suffering through the install leads to great cooling

Pros: great cooling performance, i know people who use this and it was my first choice for a cooler it is IMO the best in it's price range (to get better cooling you need to up your spending significantly) the single fan it comes with is more than adequate for stock, adequate for moderate overclocking, and will keep the cpu from frying itself if you start to get into the MOAR SPEED OCs... can mount a second fan with zero difficulty which can increase airflow through the fins increasing cooling performance i won't be trying for the 5GHz mark with my 4690K but i can see something in the 4.2-4.5 range being perfectly safe
Cons: the install could easily be simpler... getting the stand offs to line up with the mounting holes properly is not the easiest thing and keeping the bracket and the cooler together and not sliding around while getting the screws threaded in really needs an extra pair of hands
Overall Review: if you're planning to go air cooled get this one, get a buddy to help with the install, and definitely install before mounting the board to the case
it's roomy

Pros: Where to begin... space, lots of space 3 5.25" bays, 6 3.5/2.5" bays (3 of which are removable if your video card is too big) plenty of space to route the cables plenty of room for tall CPU coolers (hyper 212 evo) good location for the front panel buttons and ports decent ventilation good options for mounting additional case fans (or a radiator) and doesn't look too gaudy... a visually pleasing front panel, the blue power switch LED is not overly bright, the HD activity LED is a fairly dim red, and the only LED that is only there for looks is a subtle light on the case fan
Cons: side panels can sometimes be a tad stubborn to line the tabs up the top drive cage is ever so slightly in the way of the SATA ports on my motherboard (gigabyte g1.sniper z97) leaving little room for the cables almost a con... this sucker is wide... make sure to measure the space you plan to put it it barely fits in my desk
are you sure this is Class 4?

Pros: Inexpensive and FAST
Cons: doesn't bring me breakfast
Overall Review: write speeds consistently near 10MB/s read speeds consistently near 14MB/s i sometimes wonder if my card was mislabeled
