Overall Review: Im not sure why, but my laptop can output usb-c to display port, but if I use this hub, usb-c to display port does not provide a signal. I feel like this should work.

Pros: none yet - it arrived damaged and I can't figure out who to ask for help

Cons: I did not want to write this review, but.. I just opened the box for initial setup and one of the base stations is making a loud noise upon first plug in (it's louder than my fans, computers, air filter, etc..). I'm trying to find info on who to contact for support.. there's no clear indicator as this was sold by newegg so thee's not a contact seller option. I've spent a good amount of time looking here and on htc's website for more info with no luck. On htc's website I'm only finding legal documentation about warranty coverage, not an actual contact form. If I go to the add-on $200 warranty I purchased from squaretrade I see this message: Coverage Amount: Up to the maximum coverage price of this Protection Plan, or the purchase price of your item, whichever is lower which pretty much is saying I'm already at a loss of warranty coverage because I received a defective product? If I only get 200 worth of coverage, why would I buy the warranty, is it to let them have my $200 in case I might need it.. I really feel bad right now about this - it should be clear who to contact in this situation, and I don't think I should be penalized for receiving a defective product. I'm pretty confused by all of this and also pretty sure the warranty said it was unlimited at the time I selected it with my purchase. Can someone please reach out to me and help me get a working base station?
