EVGA GeForce 7600GS 256MB GDDR2 AGP 4X/8X Graphics Card 256-A8-N542-T2
EVGA GeForce 7600GS 256MB GDDR2 AGP 4X/8X Graphics Card 256-A8-N542-T2

Pros: I'm a software developer by profession, so I do a fair amount of research on any component I'm buying. Installing the drivers alone was one of many headaches with my last ATI card, so I was happy when these worked like a snap (92.91 forceware). This card has worked great for me so far, crisp graphics and noticeable improvement when Alt-tabbing out of full screen games (some older cards will crash).

Cons: With the drivers I had, even after installing DivX, xvid, CCCP & FFDShow (codec packs), I still could not see any video in windows media player. A bit of googling showed that you have to make a few adjustments in the nvidia control panel (Saturation was 0% for me by default i.e. no color)

Awesome

Pros: Perfect unit at a great price. I'm a software developer by profession, and I needed to upgrade my AGP video card which is about 3 years old. Needless to say, my 300w PSU could not handle the new geforce I bought. Not only does this PSU work great, its quiet, looks cool, has excellent cable management with sleeves around all the extensions, and comes with a nice 2 year warranty I believe. All I wanted was 500 watts and I got so much more

Cons: None

Works great so far

Creative Sound Blaster 16 Pre-Amp 3000473000003 2 Channels 16-bit 48KHz PCI Interface Sound Card
Creative Sound Blaster 16 Pre-Amp 3000473000003 2 Channels 16-bit 48KHz PCI Interface Sound Card

Pros: I'm not sure what some people were saying about not having a driver, the shipment I got from newegg came with an install CD and it worked fine. I installed it as a cheap solution to my mom's lack of sound card on her Windows 2000 1.6ghz aging machine and it worked fine

Cons: Past it's lifecycle with Creative so don't expect support from them (or even a driver from their site), hang on to the CD

Overall Review: Not cutting edge by any means, but definitely cheap reliable sound for me so far
