Sweet

Pros: Works great in my 8 y/o Dell Dimension 8100. No problems installing it. Burns great on my TDK discs. 40 pin makes it a great choice for older systems. Smaller than my old LG and NEC drives, will fit anywhere!
Cons: Not really a con, but it doesn't like Memorex discs! Not surprised, since nothing does anyways.
Overall Review: Now I just need some LightScribe discs!!
waste of money

Pros: Best pro I can say is the smart decision of ordering from Newegg! As usual, purchase was very quick and easy. Shipping was exceptional and quite prompt! I see that it is now $39.99 and I got it for cheaper back in December for $24.99.
Cons: Lucky if it lasts about a month before it will kick the bucket. This is the second one I've bought. Still have both and even though technically they both do "work".. on screen will show a connection rate of 154Mbps to wireless N router, 98% link quality but less than dial up speed on the throughput. I get maybe 10Kbps in either direction.. if I'm lucky. For the first week I was able to attain 3MB/s. Now, a dial up connection would walk all over this. The antenna are very cheap, at least 1 of the 2 from each card has already fell apart.
Overall Review: No matter what I do connection never improves, this thing is junk. For what I paid for the 2 of them, I should have just chose a more expensive higher quality brand. Worked fine in Windows XP as well as right out of the box in Ubuntu, OpenSuSE and Gentoo Linux. I chose this as an "upgrade" to a Belkin USB type wireless G adapter I had before. I should have stuck with the old one. Seems my father and grandfather are right... they just don't make anything like they used to. So sad how everything is disposable these days. So wasteful.
Nice fan for budget

Pros: Using 2 of these in a mid size tower, one as intake and the other as exhaust. They move enough air to keep things cool as long as there's no large objects blocking the air flow. The LEDs are a nice touch. They plugged right into the 3 pin headers on my mobo. I can even control them via PWM in Speedfan.
Cons: None really, can't complain considering these are basically budget fans.
Overall Review: Speedfan readout shows mine running at 2400 RPM on average. Of course they can get a bit loud at full speed. There's no such thing as a silent fan, it's physically impossible. Expecting a fan to move at 2300 RPM or so and be silent is like expecting a loudspeaker to be playing and not make a sound. It's moving air, that's what sound is.
TDK DVD+R

Pros: These are by far the best DVD recordable discs I've ever used. Any time I need blank discs I look for TDK now.
Cons: Absolutely none!
Overall Review: The only time I've ever burned out "coasters" with any disc was if I had settings too high. When a burn results in coaster, simply lower the burn rate. I'd rather wait another 30-60 seconds or so for the burn to complete than to have the disc end up being wasted.
Good deal for price

Pros: Got this as a cheap upgrade from an mATX case, using an mATX board (AOpen MX4SGI-4DN2). It is very roomy, much better air flow. Very easy to install all my hardware, mobo tray is marked with stand off locations for each type of board that can be fitted. The I/O plate removed very easily just by taking out 2 screws. All the connectors fit my board well and are labeled well enough. The cables were plenty long enough to reach where they need to on my board, and still a bit of slack too! Looks really cool, nice color, front LEDs are a nice touch. Good case for a good budget price.
Cons: It's constructed of rather thin steel. I was a bit worried about tightening screws. The I/O shield thats on it doesn't match to my mobo, but no big deal I have an unusual AOpen board. The supplied instruction sheet is quite vague and doesn't really give much useful information. Not a problem for someone who knows what they are doing, but probably would confuse someone who has no idea what goes where.
Overall Review: I would definitely recommend this case to anyone who needs a cheap replacement or upgrade on a budget. Front panel LEDs don't light simultaneously as some others have mentioned. No big deal to me, and matter of fact if done right they could be hooked up to do so. Also seen a few others were having problems with mounting power supply, I don't believe this to be completely a problem of the case. Seems to be dependent on different power supplies. I tried an old Dell 200 watt supply and only 2 of the screw holes lined up properly. Yet, a generic (non branded) 650 watt dual fan supply I also have fits perfectly and yields no problems with mounting.
Good for old system

Pros: Just the fix I needed for an old Dell system that accepts IDE drives (no SATA). Good upgrade for the price. No need for any special configuration, just installed it in the system and it was recognized without any problems. Fast, prompt delivery as scheduled.. I received it right on schedule just as with all orders I've placed with Newegg!
Cons: No software was included with this one. Not much of a con for me though as I don't really need it that much, I have a Nero disc from my other DVD burner. Just thought I'd mention there was no software included with this one.
Overall Review: I see other's are saying this is a rather noisy drive, but I don't think so. I've actually had some that were much noisier, so I'd say this one is rather quiet. Burned to a couple of CD-R's as well as DVD+R's and haven't had even one bad burn yet. Burns discs very well in Ubuntu (9.04) Linux as well!
