Overall Review: I dropped it on a concrete floor before installing it... I find that's generally the best way to build a new system. It still worked.

Pros: Cables are very nicely bound and shrink-wrapped.

Cons: Came in 3 pieces. The inside fan had snapped free from all 3 of it's supports. The outside fan fell out of the bezel. Since it cost $16 to ship back, I popped it open to fix the fans and saw the corner of the circuit board was crushed. The packaging had no indication of damage. The outside case was perfect. This had to have happened on the line.

Overall Review: Even though Ford doesn't make the EFI in their cars, they'll support it if it fails. I'm surprised Newegg doesn't have post-sales support that includes shipping given that shipping costs them a fraction of what it costs me. Since Newegg chooses to sell this, I'd expect a tad more accountability. Factor in that Newegg's competition will pay for shipping and I think this is my last order after many years. I'm not blaming them, just find their return shipping policy very unfavorable on an otherwise outstanding site.

Pros: It "lasted" 14 years. Meaning that it didn't flash the "replace battery" light of death until recently. That said, was the batter able to do much in the event of a power outage? No. But the computer is non-critical and I am more interested in keeping the router and cable modem alive.

Overall Review: Just like everyone said... solid stuff. Given how much an RMA will cost new through Newegg, why not spend the extra few bucks as insurance?

Pros: It worked. Lets you use your old stuff (IDE, AGP) while leaving you a future upgrade route (serial ATA, PCI video support).

Overall Review: This is my 2nd Biostar. The other has been running almost constantly for 4 years. I prefer Asus, but I'm a Biostar fan now as well. Perfect for non-gaming geeks who still need a little muscle for video/photo editing.

Pros: Nice build quality. Good documentation.

Cons: I tried the USB cable connections (there are 2) on 3 different computers. No luck. I tried the 8-pin header connector on 2 different USB controllers. No luck. Pretty sure it's DOA.

Overall Review: I've never had a DOA from newegg. Having to pay the return shipping is a drag, especially from OH to CA.
