Good stuff

Hanns-G Hi-221DPB 22" WSXGA+ 1680 x 1050 D-Sub, DVI-D Built-in Speakers LCD Monitor
Hanns-G Hi-221DPB 22" WSXGA+ 1680 x 1050 D-Sub, DVI-D Built-in Speakers LCD Monitor

Pros: Zero dead pixels. Bright crisp picture. Games, movies, and plain text alike all look great on this monitor.

Cons: None

Overall Review: Don't forget to order a DVI cable, as this monitor only comes with a VGA cable.

Most Critical Review

Absolute and complete garbage

VANTEC NST-366S3-SV Aluminum / Plastic 3.5" Silver SATA I/II/III USB 3.0 ( Backwards compatible with USB 2.0 & 1.1 ) 3.5" SATA III 6 Gb/s to USB 3.0 External Hard Drive Enclosure
VANTEC NST-366S3-SV Aluminum / Plastic 3.5" Silver SATA I/II/III USB 3.0 ( Backwards compatible with USB 2.0 & 1.1 ) 3.5" SATA III 6 Gb/s to USB 3.0 External Hard Drive Enclosure

Pros: Not a single one.

Cons: The product description lists an aluminum case design. That is true, to the letter. Unfortunately the sled that the hard drive actually sits in, and is surrounded on 3 sides by, is made of plastic. So the drive gets no cooling whatsoever from said aluminum case. Plastic is a heat insulator. Pile that on with the ridiculously oversized old style power brick and you've got a real loser on your hands.

Overall Review: I really cannot fathom why a company would make a design decision like this other than cost cutting. And so save what? A couple of cents? Seriously if it would have said anywhere in the ad that the sled was plastic I would have happily spent more and went with a different product.

Faulty USB Ports

Vertiv Liebert PST5 UPS - 500 VA / 300W 120V | Battery Backup & Surge Protection
Vertiv Liebert PST5 UPS - 500 VA / 300W 120V | Battery Backup & Surge Protection

Pros: The battery backup functionality did work.

Cons: Bought two units, both had faulty USB management ports. Tried on AMD and Intel based systems. Windows and Linux. USB 2.0 and 3.0 ports. Multiple USB cables. No combination would detect either UPS with the built in OS utilities or Liebert's software. That kind of defeats the entire purpose of a smart UPS since without management/monitoring you can't have the system automatically shut down in the event of a power failure.

Overall Review: Would absolutely not recommend or purchase again. One failure I could see as a fluke, but two tells me their quality control is not up to par. When it comes to safeguarding your data against power loss it's just not worth the risk to gamble on this product.

Great beginner drone

Holy Stone HS700D FPV GPS Drone with 4K UHD Camera Live Video, Brushless Motor, 5G WiFi Transmission
Holy Stone HS700D FPV GPS Drone with 4K UHD Camera Live Video, Brushless Motor, 5G WiFi Transmission

Pros: This is my first drone and I found is very easy to fly. Battery life is as advertised as is the range. Easy to learn controls. And really for the price you're not going to get the amount of flight time or the range this drone has anywhere else.

Cons: Although battery life is as described (right around 20 minutes), the recharge time is atrocious. 5-7 hours for a full charge. Would definitely suggest getting at least one extra battery if you find you like flying. It also does not include the USB charger, you have to provide your own, from an old cell phone or something. Picture and video quality from the included camera is eh. Not great but not terrible.

Overall Review: Did have an issue with the first drone but HolyStone customer service shipped me out a new one at no charge. Second one works great.

Pretty good

Edimax EW-7822ULC AC1200 Dual-Band Nano Wi-Fi Adapter, Nano Size Lets You Plug it and Forget It
Edimax EW-7822ULC AC1200 Dual-Band Nano Wi-Fi Adapter, Nano Size Lets You Plug it and Forget It

Pros: Faster than 802.11n. Dual band. Fairly small. Plug and play with Windows 10 1709. No issues with heat. No issues with reception on either band.

Cons: Slightly larger than Edimax's previous nano wifi adapter (EW-7811). As other people have mentioned, even though its an AC1200 adapter, it's built on a USB 2.0 platform, which has a maximum throughput of 480mbps. So don't get this if you're expecting it to operate at the full speed your router may be capable of.

Overall Review: I did some testing with the program LANtest to see what kind of throughput this thing gets. Compared it to the built in wifi adapter and the previous Edimax nano wifi adapter. Testing was done from a Lenovo Flex2 using the USB 3.0 port (4th gen i5). All tests were done connected to a Tenda AC1800 router. Device on the other end of testing was a DS218+ NAS on a wired gigabit port. Decent card

Samsung 32GB EVO microSDHC UHS-I/U1 Memory Card with Adapter, Speed Up to 95MB/s (MB-MP32GA/AM)
Samsung 32GB EVO microSDHC UHS-I/U1 Memory Card with Adapter, Speed Up to 95MB/s (MB-MP32GA/AM)

Pros: Reputable brand. Worked out of the box. Fairly fast.

Cons: So far even though it's fairly fast, it does not reach the advertised speeds. Have tested using CrystalDisk and ATTO. Using a USB 3.0 certified card reader with an Intel i5 (7th gen) desktop as the supporting system. A little disappointed.

Great customer service

Drone was delivered quickly. However had an issue with the first one. It was replaced promptly with a brand new drone with no extra expense on my part. Can't ask for anything better. Would definitely buy from again.
