A solid USB switch
Pros: Biggest pro, and the reason i purchased a new USB switch, is that it doesnt have intermittent connection issues. My last switch constantly disconnected during gaming and id be stuck in game with no keyboard or mouse. The USB cords that come with it appear to be very thick and sturdy which i can only assume help and the switch's ports appear to be well made - not loose like other switches can be.
Cons: A small con, that I'll compromise for good connectability, but could be frustrating is that there isnt any autoswitch functionality to allow you to simply turn on your pc and it knows to switch over to it. You can easily push the button to manually switch pcs so its not a huge deal. Another small con is the brightness of the light indicator on the switch itself is very low, depending on lighting it can be very hard to see which pc it's currently set to.
Overall Review: Overall the switches build and connection stability makes it an easy upgrade over cheaper ones that are touchy and become frustrating. Would recommend.
Great upgrade from 1080p and easy to set up
Pros: Easy to add the stand and plug and play - only need 1 or 2 restarts for the drivers to get downloaded and going. Has multiple HDMI ports for other pcs/consoles but only one display port which some may have issues with but thats all i needed.
Cons: Only 1 display port - not sure if thats common but could potentially be a let down for someone who knows what they're looking for. For my 1 pc set up its just fine though.
Overall Review: Would recommend as an entry level monitor to 144hz or higher 1440p gaming.
Great upgrade into 1440p gaming.
Pros: Great cooling surprisingly - under 60 while playing Warzone in 1440p with 150fps on only a ryzen 5 3600 cpu.Great performance, as mentioned above, first time playing 1440p with good fps.Easy installation - plug and play with only an update to drivers and one or two restarts.Great aesthetic - mono tones is great so it blends in with whatever non white build youre making. Not a ton of wordage either which is nice.
Cons: Heavy - I noticed the back hdmi and display ports were very snug and almost not able to be used, but that could just be my case. It works but you have to lift the end to tilt it down then plug in your monitors. Not a huge con but was worrisome until i figured it out.Bad rgb placement - for some reason the only rgb is right below both 8 pin connectors so almost all the lighting is obstructed if you use thick extention cables.
Overall Review: Overall well worth the hassle of finding one and a great upgrade from my previous 1080p experience.
