Very good mobo
Pros: This has to be the most feature-filled motherboard I've ever seen. Pound for pound, those of us who don't have the morbidly obese wallets to afford the new i7 architecture, this piece is astounding albeit not quite as great as anything based on the 790i chipset. Setting it up was quite a breeze, and I do adore the necessity of having to activate a switch onboard to unlock overclocking options.
Cons: There's no bottle opener :(
Overall Review: I had actually RMA'd this thing, my first was DOA. However it was a matter of only 5 business days that my replacement arrived. ILU newegg.
Decent for the price
Pros: This is a decent motherboard for the price. It has the features I need without too much extra stuff - it works.
Cons: The bundled software is tacky. It claims a "fast" startup time of 4 seconds, which is just an automated process that involves restarting Windows, setting a trigger telling the executable it has just finished basic startup routines and sends it into hibernation mode. Nothing worth docking a point over as it just seemed a little hokey.
AMAZING
Pros: This card performs ~400% faster than my old setup of dual SLI XFX nVidia GeForce 8600 GT's. I'm simply blown away, I cranked up even the antialiasing and antisotropic filtering and it just doesn't slow down at all. This thing just plain OWNS.
Cons: Owners of smaller cases beware, as in other reviews. While this card is a behemoth in performance, its also gargantuan in size. Also beware, you're better off using a power supply running under recommended wattage and amperage with a PCIe 6pin and a PCIe6+2 than to use something under the correct wattage and amperage using the adapters. I had to revert to my old PSU as it would run in 3d mode then power off on me. Beware.
Overall Review: Once again nVidia proves a valuable investment, in my opinion and experience. This thing will easily last me the next 5 years.
Pros: For the price this handy PSU cannot be beaten as far as I've searched through the site.
Cons: The included cord seemed to be made of a rubber similar to that of a gummie worm...
Pros: I upgraded from a C2D E4500 2.2 GHz, with this as its fine successor. 'Twas worth every penny. Even with a few "adjustments" it still runs at very low temperatures with absolutely no stability issues.
Cons: None
Pros: At the time the TV was on a short-term sale, $150 plus free shipping I think. Can't beat that price even if its not "HD"
Cons: None
