Most Favorable Review

As good as they say

LG 24" TFT LCD WUXGA LCD Monitor with USB2.0 Hub and Height & Pivot Adjustments 8ms(GTG) D-Sub, HDMI L246WP-BN
LG 24" TFT LCD WUXGA LCD Monitor with USB2.0 Hub and Height & Pivot Adjustments 8ms(GTG) D-Sub, HDMI L246WP-BN

Pros: Excellent display. 0 Pixel problems. Good color depth and imagery. Almost CRT Photo-Editing quality.

Cons: Almost. For the price this is a high quality device. If you are doing heavy editing or similar work, you still can't beat CRT

Overall Review: Someone else mentioned the lack of auto-find feature is kind of a pain. As a person who uses a combination of machines connected in different ways it can be a little extra work. But you get used to it, but for the average user it will never matter.

Great Card But...

EVGA GeForce 8800 GTS 320MB GDDR3 PCI Express x16 SLI Support Graphics Card 320-P2-N811-AR
EVGA GeForce 8800 GTS 320MB GDDR3 PCI Express x16 SLI Support Graphics Card 320-P2-N811-AR

Pros: The card is exactly as noted. It is a little large but I have a massive machine. It runs quiet, and the support software is ok. Vista drivers are good, and games and movies run incredibly well.

Cons: This card is now over a year old. I have noticed the stable temperature at rest has gone up dramatically. I do not overclock the system this card is in. While the card has a lot of up time (I don't turn off my PC generally) this is unusual behavior. I suspect the FAN is starting to go. If this is the case it is worrisome that the FAN would begin to die after only being in service for a year and some change.

Overall Review: I will buy a new fan and update this review if that is in fact the issue here.

Descent Camera

Creative Live! Cam Video IM Pro 0.3 M Effective Pixels USB 2.0 WebCam
Creative Live! Cam Video IM Pro 0.3 M Effective Pixels USB 2.0 WebCam

Pros: Commits the function designed for, and is appropriate for it's price range. The software that it came with is fair. For a portable PC Cam it is alright.

Cons: The software it came with is rather poor. I can cause my machine to crash every time if I use the Motion-Sensor in conjunction with Audio feedback. This may have to do with my RealTek drivers which are notoriusly shoddy, but it is an irritiant all the same. If I am not cautious it results in a total system melt-down every time. Tech support was alright, but were unable to assist me.

Overall Review: If you are using this as a normal stand-alone desktop camera it is good. If you plan to use the motion capture function in conjunction with Audio you may want to Reconsider.
