Fantastic Product

MSI 870A FUZION AM3 AMD 770 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX AMD Motherboard
MSI 870A FUZION AM3 AMD 770 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX AMD Motherboard

Pros: Price/Performance. Even if you don't use the Fuzion technology, the motherboard is a beast. Is it top of the line? No. But it is VERY close. If you have a great or decent CPU, you can easily OC. I currently have the 1090t running at 3.9 and is very sable. I couldn't quite get to 4.0 or beyond without some instability. I haven't really spent too much time with OC but I bet I can get 4.0 or slightly over with the right settings. I haven't played with the Fuzion being that I only have ATI cards around my house, but I have seen reviews on other sites and it looks promising. You will need to update drivers frequently if you use the Fuzion technology as MSI is constantly improving this new product. I would highly recommend this motherboard for anyone looking to upgrade or a novice just starting to build computers. Just watch the price as it will drop periodically. I paid slightly over a bill and again I am thoroughly satisfied!

Cons: None -- except the reviewer that gave 1 egg because he doesn't know how to read descriptions. It VERY CLEARLY is printed in bright colors on the box "AMD 770 Chipset". Newegg never mentioned anything about an 870 chipset. You need to read ALL descriptions before purchasing any products. You shouldn't fault someone else because of your mistake.

Overall Review: Windows 7 Pro (64) AMD 1090t at 3.9 (very stable) MSI 870A Fuzion 2 X 4870 (crossfire, I know they are old but I can't give em up) G Skill Ripjaw 8gb (4X2gb running 1600)

great??

ASUS M4A79 Deluxe AM3/AM2+/AM2 AMD 790FX ATX AMD Motherboard
ASUS M4A79 Deluxe AM3/AM2+/AM2 AMD 790FX ATX AMD Motherboard

Pros: Many options for overclocking or "tweaking" your rig. Ability to crossfire 4 cards. Memory capacity is terrific (even though I seriously doubt I will use the full potential). Power button/Reset button on board. Great company.

Cons: I have the exact same problem as an earlier reviewer. My setup randomly reset and upon reboot it says "Hyper transport flood sync error occured on last boot. Press F1 to continue". I have no clue as to what is causing this issue. I have all settings in BIOS to stock or Auto. I have all drivers (to my knowledge) updated for all my hardware. I do not have any overheating problems. I have the most current BIOS (1704).

Overall Review: For the brief moments when the computer is not rebooting, this board performs flawless. I have contatced Asus support (I used the link from the previous reviewer) and have yet to recieve any response. I really hope I don't have to drop more money for a new board. If I do I might look elsewhere..... Fantastic Scanner

Genius Color Page - SF600 48bit Single pass 600 x 600dpi Scanner
Genius Color Page - SF600 48bit Single pass 600 x 600dpi Scanner

Pros: This scanner is perfect for light daily use. I purchased this for my office. I work at a bank and need to email legal documents, loan information, employee information, etc. I generally scan 10 times a day and each time I scan 1-5 pages (roughly 30 pages a day). This scanner fit the bill perfect. For the price and what you get, this is a fantastic value.

Cons: Non

Overall Review: To people who say that the provided CD does not work for Windows 7 or has outdated drivers, you are incorrect. The CD has the latest drivers (5.1) and does work with Windows 7 64 and 32. My office computer runs 32 and my home has 64. The setup was easy. Plug in scanner, install drivers/software from CD, start scanning. From start to finish 5 minutes. There is a website and this company is legitimate. Not sure how or why people do not understand how to use the internet but you could start at google. It took me 10 seconds to find this companies website. All you neweggers that rated this product for less becasue of your ignorance should be banned from reviewing products. You all gave incorrect advice based on your incompetence.

Terrific Price to Performance ratio!!

ONKYO HT-S7300 7.1-channel home theater A/V system
ONKYO HT-S7300 7.1-channel home theater A/V system

Pros: This HTIB setup is a perfect purchase for the price. I live in an apartment so I wanted a HTIB and not a piece-by-piece setup. I researched HTIB setups for about 4 months before pulling the trigger on this. I read reviews all over the net and decided on this setup. I waited until the price dropped and found the website listing it for the least. This is what I wanted in a setup; -7.1, with the option of an addition A/B speaker for a total of 9.1 speaker. -1080p up scaling, I run my computer trough the receiver to watch TV and internet and the receiver dramatically improved the quality -ipod dock was a nice bonus -Dolby TrueHD / Pro Logic IIz / dts-HD Master Audio / Dolby Digital Plus / dts-HD High Resolution Audio (would have liked THX but cannot justify spending so much more on a format that very few products utilize) -Audyssey 2EQ, Dynamic Volume, Dynamic EQ speaker calibration/room equalization with included microphone -Front floor standing speakers -warranty on the r

Cons: Only "con", that others mentioned as well, is the included speaker wire. The included wire is 24 gauge and that is too small of a gauge to be using for this kind of setup. I purchased a spool of 100ft 16 gauge RCA speaker wire or less than $15. Do yourself a favor and get new wire. I read so many reviews about Onkyo units getting hot or over heating. I have no idea where these people are putting their receivers but this is NOT an issue with Onkyo. If you have never owned a receiver before, you must understand that they will get "warm" because they require a lot of power. They are decoding and processing a lot of audio (and now video). They are also an amplifier and powering all speakers connected. You cannot cram these into small places. I have 6-8 inches of breathable air above my receiver and have absolutely no heat problems (have had it running for 10.5 hours).

Overall Review: I actually purchased this through a competitor (starts with an A......com) because it was cheaper by more that $50 (rare, I know!). In hindsight, I would have gladly purchased this through the egg because at $600, this HTIB is just incredible. Do not hesitate to buy this HTIB from Onkyo. You will not be disappointed. I would highly recommend this product to both friends and family and would also recommend any Onkyo product in general.

Awesome

Antec CP-850 850W Continuous Power CPX SLI Certified CrossFire Ready 80 PLUS Certified Modular Active PFC "compatible with Core i7" Power Supply

Pros: Incredible PSU for the price. If you have one of the few cases that this PSU is designed for, I would highly recommend this PSU.

Cons: nothing

Overall Review: Like others have always stated, this is NOT a standard PSU. This PSU was designed by Antec and only fits a few of their cases. Rig AMD 1090T (at 4ghz) MSI 870A Fuzion MB 8gb (4 X 2GB) Ripjaws 1600 2 X 4870 1 GB (crossfire) 128GB SSD Crucial 1 TB samsung HDD Antec 1200 Antec CP-850

Typing made better?

Logitech G110 LED Backlighting Gaming Keyboard
Logitech G110 LED Backlighting Gaming Keyboard

Pros: -lit keys -different colors to choose from -all black (minus the lit keys) -Plug a USB device into the keyboard or your headphone/mic

Cons: The keys are still a bit weird to type on for me. I love playing games on the keyboard, but typing normal is not comfortable for me. I constantly misspell words and hit wrong keys and I have no idea why. It only happens on this keyboard and I have been using it daily for months and months.

Overall Review: I wanted an all black gaming keyboard with blue lighting that would match my Antec 1200. Aesthetically, this keyboard fit the bill for me perfect. Typing and comfort, this keyboard did not fit the bill. I will not get a new keyboard for some time and I am over all content with this purchase. I would recommend people try this keyboard first before making a purchase and to know what you will be primarily using it for. If it is strictly for gaming, I would rate this 5 out of 5. Being that you cannot switch keyboards quickly for a more comfortable one if you choose to type, I have to deduct 1 egg.
