Pros: Low Price.

Cons: A couple of "problem" discs (in 50)

Overall Review: I'm generally happy with these discs. Didn't have any problems until the last 2 discs in the pack. While the burning program indicated no problems, the overall speed was 6x instead of the 12x I'd selected. Closer inspection showed that the disc were "cupped" upward a very small amount. Room temperature was 60 degrees F at the time, so it wasn't an environmental problem.

Pros: - The unit I got was almost brand new. - Very fast. The SSD runs at SATA III speeds (6Gbps). - Almost no fan noise, even though fan is BIOS set to always on.

Cons: - 14" screen at 1366x768, but I'm using an external monitor. - Heavy! It's 7 lbs shipped. I'd hate to have to lug it around.

Overall Review: Desktop replacement running Linux Mint 18.2 KDE. Everything works except there were disconnects on the wired Ethernet. This would happen even when sitting in the BIOS, so not a software issue. Turned out to be an old 5 port Linksys switch that got confused when Link Negotiation tried 1gig. Manuall setting link speed to 100mbps helped a lot, but I finally just replaced the switch. Wireless works perfectly. I'd buy another one if the price drops down again.

Pros: A great performer for a single slot solution. The SFF computer I just built didn't have room for a dual slot card like an 8800GTS. The Nvidia tools show idling GPU temps of 50C and it maxs out at less than 65C so I'm happy with it's thermal performance too.

Cons: Nothing really. Just missed the 10 dollar rebate, but that's OK.

Overall Review: Quick testing with glxgears on Linux shows that my old 6800GT card is about %75 the performance of this 7900GS and the 7900 is about %75 of the 8800GTS. Pretty much as expected. Plays UT2004 and Quake Wars at 1680x1050 very nicely. Just keep the AA down (or off).

Pros: Runs much cooler and quieter than my SN95G5 or SK81G Shuttles. Running a 4200+ X2 65w CPU and 2GB of G. Skill memory. Video is a PNY 7900GS. No software install issues with Fedora 7. Using a Pioneer PATA DVD burner and a WD 250GB SATA drive.

Cons: PCI-E socket should have been the outer socket of allow for double-wide video cards like 8800GTS. PSU is only 250w. Replaced it with a 400w PSU. Springs on "stealth" doors are way too weak.

Overall Review: Standard PSUs are +30mm deeper than the supplied PSU. This will interfere with the cabling of drives in the HD tray. I solved this by cutting the back panel to allow the new PSU to stick out the back by about 3/4 of an inch. I also cut down a spring from a ballpoint pen and used it for the DVD door. Works a little better, the door closes all the way now.

Comments: Got a referb in excellent condition. Went together fine, just needed to change that FSB jumper to 133Mhz. Installed RedHat 8.0 in about 45 minutes. Only software wart is the sound. Finally added a Santa Cruz sound card and shutoff the VIA sound. Video is an old GeForce 2 Ultra, 512MB of RAM and 40GB Maxtor 7200 rpm. hdparm -t /dev/hda shows 40MB/sec. Not too bad! Great service from NewEgg and FedEX. I recommend NewEgg to everyone.
