Very Nice 2.1's
Pros: I got these to replace a Altec Lancing 2.1 about 10 years old. I had them delivered to work and I unpacked them. Got them all hooked up. These things will serious kill your office working environment. I loaded up Battlefield 4 and the bass shockwave..... is wow. No noise hisssss. Just the music or game pounding through these things. And I do mean pound! It's nice to have a quality 2.1 set again.
Cons: I did have to remove the speakers from my work environment and bring them home. When my son comes out of his room complaining I tell him its an 80's thing
Great Board even with Win 8.1
Pros: USB 3.0 Header, 4 Ram Slots, 6 Sata Connections, Double Slot PCI 16 and can still use PCI. No Problems with Windows 8.1 Graphics driver... See other thoughts.
Cons: Gigabyte doesn't have Windows 8.1 driver on the included CD or on their website for the HD 3000 graphics chip.
Overall Review: This board is one of my staples for Budget AMD Builds. I done at least 10 builds using this board. It looks great, and has a usb 3.0 header that other boards in this price range don't have. As far as the poor reviews of people saying the board doesn't have a Video driver for Windows 8.1 they are dead wrong. Here is a walkthrough on how to get the driver. Go to www.amd.com Select "Driver + Support" at the top of the page. Select "Drivers + Download Center" on the left side of the window. Find "Manually select your Driver" Step 1: Select "Intergraded Motherboard Graphics" Step 2" Select "Radeon 3xxx Series" Step 3: Select "Radeon 3000 Series" Step 4: Select "Windows 8" 64 bit or 32 bit depending on the flavor your running. Install this and Kaboom! You have Windows 8.1 Driver.
Incredible Range!
Pros: Got this for my HTPC. Had tried several mice including M$ and HP but they wouldn't work with me just 10 feet away. This thing will work if I was in the next County! No seriously I works 2 rooms away!
Cons: Build Quality seems a little low, but for the price I wont knock off an Egg.
Overall Review: I guess the value of this mouse will depend on how long it lasts. If it lasts 6 months that is all I ever get out of a M$ mouse and it doesn't have near the distance of this one.
HTPC Video Card
Pros: I got this for my Lian Li HTPC - Light Gaming rig. I have it running with a Pentium 3430 and 8 GB ram. This thing is awesome! I can play all the games I like with all the Candy turned up. It will even run BF4 on Low-Med settings.
Cons: Didn't get it on Sale
Overall Review: I'm getting older so I don't play the fast paced shooter as much as I use to, so this is a fantastic fit my HTPC. Low TDP really helps since my case has no fans.
Nice Pad
Pros: My son had been using his desk top for a mouse pad and it was starting to wear off the finish. I got this for him and after a week of use he said it works much better than the desk.
Cons: None
Nice Cable
Pros: Made very nice, I like the "Shoe String" Retro look.
Cons: none
Overall Review: I bought 2
