Awesome ASUS does it Again !!!

Pros: I got mine back in April of 2011.. it performs exactly as described in the details hardly noticeable during spin up/spin down... burner is kind of quiet burns very quick on BD-R no coasters yet
Cons: I pay $129.00 for mine, should have waited a few months for the price drop :-( other cons are all these reviewer's that are not "VERIFIED OWNERS" , which are probably people who don't even own this product and are fanboi's of other brand manufactuer's
Overall Review: Yes, my tech knowledge is HIGH.. been building and programming PC's since the 8088's & IBM 286 days ( mid/late 1980's ) some have complained that this ASUS Blu-Ray burner is slow..... it is not slow... but a person using this Burner must have a computer with decent cpu/memory ( pc components ) that can push this burner to it's max abilities people saying this ASUS Burner is slow probably have it installed in a mediocre PC or have a bloated OS and bloated hard drive and under powered PSU..... there is absolutely nothing wrong with the performance of this ASUS Blu Ray Burner... it is blazing fast and comes with 8 MB Cache
Question for Mad Cow

Pros: price looks good
Cons: non yet, am trying to figure if I should purchase
Overall Review: Mad Cow, have you been able to take one of these and "RE-WRITE" to it after you have already burned a BD-RE disc with your ASUS BW-12B1LT Blu-ray burner, yet? or do you need a Bluray Re-Writer burner to do so?
A LOT for a little

Pros: Extremely Low Cost Excellent Quality and Craftsmanship of product Guitar came setup with excellent intonation and good string height, plays wonderfully.....it is alot better than any MIM Fender I have ever owned! The included accessories and practice amp are good also the electronic tuner works correctly compared to my Korg tuner or my Line 6 amp built in tuner I have been studying the guitar for over 25 yrs and own over 10 guitars, and this Silvertone Citation is well worth 300+ dollars by itself going by the quality of the craftsmanship put into this Axe!!!
Cons: UPS Delivery had dropped/damaged the package/box it came in. box had holes in it and was crushed on 2 sides with one of the flaps torn open.
Overall Review: strongly encourage others to purchase this combo guitar pack for a beginning or intermediate player. an instructional DVD would have been nice with this combo package, hopefully Silvertone will decide to include one in the future...... but am completely satisfied with my decision to purchase this for my young 9 yr old!
So Far So Good - Am Pleased

Pros: -Runs extremely cool and quiet -Windows 7 64 bit loads quickly and opens programs lots faster -my 1st ever Raptor Drive / WD Drive...... always bought hitachi before, but WD bought them out earlier this year -no bad blocks/sectors -No issues installing or loading OS,
Cons: -suppose to be SATA III 6.0 Gb/s , but never even maxes out the SATA II 3.0 Gb/s Maximum Limit...... -SATA III technology is just a gimic until it can produce the numbers it is currently claiming it is capable of. this goes for all SATA III 6.0 Gb/s components/ Brands - only gets 5.9 in WEI , but I am running it as a single partitioned AHCI 450 gig drive - wondering if IDE drive selection would let it operate faster than as it is now in AHCI ( Hot Swappable Drive )
Overall Review: - NewEgg shipped my order quickly arrived in less than 3 days... but that "offered 2 day free shipping program" ripped me off, still had to pay shipping on 1/3 of my order when it said it all was covered! - Newegg packed all my components very well, hence my WD HD works without any flaws - My New System Specs: Monitor: ASUS VE278Q Black 27" 1920x1080 2ms Full HD Case: Thermaltake Level 10 GT (VN10001W2N) PSU: PC Power and Cooling Silencer Mk II 950W MB: ASUS M4A89TD PRO/USB3 CPU: AMD Phenom II X4 975 Black Edition Deneb 3.6GHz ( OC'ed to 4.2 on air ) CPU Heatsink & Fan(s): CORSAIR CAFA70 120mm Dual-Fan CPU Cooler Sys RAM: CORSAIR Vengeance 16GB (4 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 Graphics Card: XFX HD-687A-ZDFC Radeon HD 6870 1GB 256-bit GDDR5 HDD1: WD4500HLHX 450GB SATAIII Optical Drive1: ASUS Black BW-12B1LT SATA Blu-ray Burner w/ L.Scribe Optical Drive2:LG Black Model UH12LS28 SATA Int.
