Works as expected
Overall Review: - The installation experience for me was straight-forward. Although, I could see someone who doesn't work with networking having a tougher time getting it setup (think Wifi and setting it to bridge mode). - Once setup, you don't need to "babysit" it. - I haven't noticed any reduced internet bandwidth issue while this is monitoring my network, so that is a good thing and something I was worried about.
Good quality SSD
Pros: Performance is great. I already own an X25 SSD drive from Intel that I use in my other PC and have always been impressed with it. This new SATA III SSD drive is a bit quicker in performance. I use it as my Windows 7 OS drive (like I did with my X25) and hope to have similar performance that I see with the X25.
Cons: At this point, price/size is always going to be a con. When 1TB drives become available (and affordable), these types of drives will be the only ones to choose.
Good quality motherboard
Pros: I'm a first time owner of an MSI motherboard (I usually buy ASUS, but the 1155's were out of stock). This board was very easy to install into my existing PC case. Everything worked as expected. At this point I have no plans to overclock so I can't speak to how easy or hard that is. Keep in mind that if you have an IDE hard drive, this motherboard does not come with an IDE controller.
Cons: The installation manual leaves a bit to be desired. It was clear as to where the the power switch/HD LED connects were on the board.
Overall Review: I will definitely consider MSI for any future upgrades.
