yea, the rock

Pros: ok, so, a lot of 'audiophiles' complain the high end of this system is weak, lies, i actually run a recording studio out of my garage, and these speakers compare to the monitors i use for my work. the range is full and even, all frequency spectrums are clean and well balanced. 280w is an amazing amount of power for a system this price and the THX certification is well deserved
Cons: if you don't put the sub behind your TV or entertainment stand (like thx specifications recommend) it can be over whelming. it also gets kinda warm, so if it is put behind/under something, give it room to breath (that goes for the bass breath hole, as it will push a lot of air). not good for night or apartment use
Overall Review: id like to point out, the THX certification indicates that this system is rated for the best MOVIE viewing experience, this means movies will sound amazing, games will also sound amazing if they too are THX supported or at least support Dolby surround sound playback, music on the other hand will take adjustments to make work. as THX is for movies...not music. dont get me wrong, these are AMAZING for music, of all styles, i listen to everything from Trance to big band jazz, metal to oldies, and they all sound amazing. Heavy sub and hefty speakers only mean a better magnet coil. and 280w is amazing for a standard room size, unless you are buying for a rather large room (larger than 15x15 with lots of people) 280w is plenty.
Huge

Pros: space, lots, and lots of space well ventilated and sturdy construction
Cons: kinda big actually, very large, but it is a full case
Overall Review: this monster case was what i need to house my many hard drives, and still have room for 2 video cards; nice enough the Hard drive tray is turned so the cables aren't a tangled mess, cable management is decent but the air flow is still ridiculous because of its sheer size, fans all very quiet even on full speed
nice

Pros: very effective (4200+ running at 29* idle 34* full load)
Cons: huge!
Overall Review: make sure your case has room for this monster, its much taller then the images have it appear, but well worth the size
vacuum?

Pros: Fast, pushes a LOT of air; cheap
Cons: can be on the loud side on full speed
Overall Review: running at half speed this fan is very quiet (nearly inaudible), when pushed up to full speed it does in fact sound like a vacuum cleaner in your case. but, it does move a lot of air in exchange for that volume
new same, same card

Pros: amazing audio quality - no audio artifacts at any volume or quality rating painless and easy install - if you can insert a PCI card..you're good; if you can install a CD-ROM; you can install the break-out box....drivers? its an exe on a cd (or website for newer drivers); just click next, it does the rest breakout box is infinitely useful, i have my 360 run though it; as well as record stuff for my band occasionally (at the same time!)
Cons: if you have a door for the front of the case, it wont shut because of the volume knobs; creative audio console control software is a bit clunky and somewhat ram-intense; then again, that could just be windows
Overall Review: I purchased the X-Fi platinum; which is the exact same card as this, minus the Fatal1ty logo; installed it when i was on XP; ive moved from XP pro; to vista business, to vista ultimate, and at no time have i ever had driver issues. my video card yes, audio, never (in fact i used the sound to fix my video card!) if the drives on the CD don't work, that doesn't surprise me at all, they are dated, use the website - they are newer. I love my X-Fi; the drivers are just fine, and the card works amazing in all the xp and above platforms
Solid Card, Solid Price

Pros: The heat sink this thing comes with is nice, heafty copper, and it covers the memory, saving you the time and money of buying memory heatsinks (which probably wouldnt fit due its close proximity to the GPU)
Cons: nothing really worthy of degrading this beautiul product over
Overall Review: the GT is an awsome overclock card, the GPU on the GT and the GTX are the exact same, the GT is just manufactured with a voltage governer, up the voltage (with some PCB/Tracer modding), add a better (water?) cooling and you can save $xxx and crank this up to core speeds near 800mhz easy
