Pros: Nice timing parms if your board supports it correctly.
Cons: My Biostar- ATI TA790GX XE will clock it ok with a bump up 2.05 V but it won't let me set the some of the parms correctly- so it's not optimized in this board.
Overall Review: Make sure you understand the spd chip will not allow the bios to automatically interpet and set the correct parmeters for 1066 memory
Overated
Comments: The first time I powered it up it had the odor of fryed electronics and it was kind of noisy. It worked for about 6 months under a light load. It started smoking one day so I took it apart and found the rear fan connector had a cold solder joint (the connector was no longer soldered to the ps board)and it had quit running. I thought this specs were unrealisic and this just proved it. It shouldn't need 2 fans for the light load it was under.
Board has some issues
Comments: Save yourself alot of headaches and don't enable USB 2 in Bios until you have the OS installed. I swapped out a PCChips M947 board with this one and the onboard video isn't in the same league. (The 947 has it own dedicated 64MB of DDR400 memory). The trouble with the 947 is that it has no video exspansion slot and is limited to a 400FSB. I need to use 2 monitors so this seemed like a good way to go for the money. It works but it has issues such as not shuting down when using 2 monitors and having to cycle one of the monitors on and off to get both displays working sometimes.
