Overall Review: I am using this on a SATA2 system and it read/writes as fast as you would expect for a SATA2 SSD drive. Longevity? I have not had it long enough to know, but the two others I have used are still working 3-6 months later.

I cut the cable to shorten the cable and make it into 2 cables. The wires for each individual strand were not solid so the new ends were harder to connect. I recommend this hardily for those who are leaving it as one cable -but not for those wanting to make it into multiple runs.

Nothing I have read in advertisement tells me M.2 drives will not boot on my older PC. That info is found DEEP into readings about M.2 drives. My bad for not doing better research - but this is an expensive fast storage drive which is pretty much useless to me.
