Solid Mouse

Pros: Very solid construction, Customization, Appearance, Thumb button positions, backed by the Corsair name, surface testing in the software.
Cons: Shape initially caused my hand to cramp, some "phantom" tracking issues (see other thoughts),
Overall Review: Initially I was getting some "Phantom" tracking with this mouse, after changing the Report Rate form 1ms to 2ms all has returned to normal. Software feels a little clunky, should improve with future releases, some features like uploading profiles to the mouse, were not that obvious...reading the manual is a must. The mouse works for a Fingertip Grip small (for a male) hand, I switched from a dying G9x, which was slightly more comfortable. Comp specs: AMD FX-4170 8.00 GB Dual-Channel DDR3 @ 936MHz SABERTOOTH 990FX
Works Great

Pros: Works great in a GoPro Hero (1) filming in 720p. Fills about 50% recording the entire time on one battery charge. Good real world speeds.
Cons: None.
Great temps, few problems.

Pros: Fantastic Temps, Comes with the ability to add an additional fan for a push/pull config, and near silent.
Cons: Assembly is a bit of a pain, some quality control issues; a few of the nuts had damaged threads, making them near impossible to use during assembly, and unfortunately the AMD nuts are quite unique, so I really just had to muscle one of them on (They included one spare bolt, but 2 of the 5 had damaged threads.). And finally, the backplate was a little bit warped, I didn't realize this until I had tightened it down and realized that my Motherboard was quite warped, after loosening the bolts some it's returned to near normal shape, this is a pretty big deal, you probably could straighten it with a hammer, but...a flat back plate really is a mandatory.
Overall Review: Improved temps on an AMD Athlon X2 7850 Black Edition Kuma 2.8GHz from 28 C idle to 18 C idle, and 60 c 100% load to 43 100% load (was using a stock cooler). Gave it 4 eggs cause to me, the temps are what really matter, but in terms of quality control I would give them a 1-3 egg score.
A good mouse

Pros: Shape (see other thoughts), feels like incredible build quality, weight system, surface testing via software, looks great, and a fully functional software suite.
Cons: From what I can tell, the sensor performance on this mouse is quite dependent on the surface your using (more in other thoughts), and the major con that made me take an egg off is that the scroll wheel intermittently makes a metallic popping sound similar to that of when you depress an empty aluminum soda can (a bit quieter though), I've tried two m65s, thinking that the first might be a defect, but it appears that this is just a sound that the scroll wheel makes occasionally.
Overall Review: This shape was the first, after trying 6 different high end gaming mice, that did not make my hand cramp (coming from a Logitech G9x wide shell grip) (small/medium male fingertip/palm hybrid grip). I was originally using a gigabyte krypton dual sided mouse pad, on the speed side, the mouse actually will not track on the dark blue colored "krypton" logo, it tracks fine on the solid black areas, on the precision side the laser actually feels sluggish (input lag/micro skipping), almost like I have to drag the cursor across the screen. I'm switching to a corsair mm600 and I'm assuming that will fix all tracking/laser issues. Finally, I originally was having issues with the mouse turning on when I cold started my machine (all other usb devices work as well as previous and various other mice), I'm running a Asus 990fx MB (Win 7 64bit) and it seems that this mouse does not like their updated chipset drivers (V8.973) and after downgrading to their V8.85 version this mouse starts fine when cold booting.
