Excellent non-RGB memory

Mushkin Enhanced Redline 32GB (2 x 16GB) 288-Pin PC RAM DDR5 6000 (PC5 48000) Desktop Memory
Mushkin Enhanced Redline 32GB (2 x 16GB) 288-Pin PC RAM DDR5 6000 (PC5 48000) Desktop Memory

Pros: Whats to say? Memory works fine with my ASUS B650 Plus motherboard and Ryzen 5 7800X CPU. Upgraded BIOS to latest version so that EXPO memory settings would not cause any overvoltage issues and the machine is singing along.

Cons: No real CONS. Don't need RGB so love these low height blacked memory sticks just fine.

Overall Review: Definitely recommend!

Excellent power supply, only one minor issue.

CORSAIR RMe Series RM1200e ATX Power Supply – Fully Modular – ATX 3.1 – 80 PLUS Gold – Cybenetics Platinum – Low-Noise – 1200 Watts – Ten-Year Warranty
CORSAIR RMe Series RM1200e ATX Power Supply – Fully Modular – ATX 3.1 – 80 PLUS Gold – Cybenetics Platinum – Low-Noise – 1200 Watts – Ten-Year Warranty

Pros: Plenty of power and easy installation. Quiet, and small size as well as the completely modular cables mean you don't have to stick in any cables that you don't need. I've been a long time user of Corsair power supplies and will probably continue using their product lines.

Cons: I've only given 4 stars because of a minor cabling issue. No, I've not contacted Corsair to remedy it, so that's on me. The SATA power cables seem to have somehow shrunk, they were very difficult to get plugged on my mix of Seagate, Western Digital and Toshiba hard drives. In fact, one of the connectors actually broke apart while I was attempting to plug it in. I have checked all the SATA power cables, and they all seemed to have the same 'too small feel' and thus were difficult to plug in. I've never had this issue with Corsair cables before, so I wonder if they've switched to a different vendor for their cable/connectors. There was also only one of the four connector SATA power cables and since I have eight hard drives in this system as well as three DVD/Blu-ray disc drives, I needed to order additional SATA power cables for it. No problem. New cables had the same 'over tight' feel to them. I'm going to simply have to get used to the feel of these tight connectors, so I don't break more of 'em. Maybe tight is the new normal and better tight than falling out (not that any of their older ones did). OH, and I had to struggle with the 24pin motherboard main power connector as well, again, while it did plug in finally, it was evident that the quality of the casting of the connector was not up to what I've come to expect from Corsair. Took a lot of rocking and checking that I wasn't doing something wrong to get that cable connected. All the cables plugged into the power supply end with zero issues, but the motherboard and SATA power cables all were worrying.

Overall Review: I would definitely recommend the Corsair line of power supplies but will do so with the caveat about the new connectors' fragility requiring more care. Like I've said before, I have four systems running the RM1000 and RM1200 Corsair PS, and all do their jobs admirably.

Excellent drive, easy setup and good so far!

Team Group EX2 2.5" 2TB SATA III 3D NAND Internal Solid State Drive (SSD) T253E2002T0C101
Team Group EX2 2.5" 2TB SATA III 3D NAND Internal Solid State Drive (SSD) T253E2002T0C101

Pros: Simply plugged in and setup Windows 10 on the drive without any complications. It was recognized and functional on my ancient motherboard and BIOS. WAY faster than the old hard drive for booting and system operations.

Cons: So far, zero negative effects or issues to deal with.

Overall Review: I would definitely recommend this drive to anyone looking to improve their system startup drive or even for general storage! Team Group seems to be an up and comer with their product lines and especially this EX2, 2TB SATA SSD drive.

Excellent motherboard at a great price!

ASRock Z690 PG Velocita LGA 1700 (14th,13th,12th Gen) Intel Z690 SATA 6Gb/s DDR5 ATX Intel Motherboard
ASRock Z690 PG Velocita LGA 1700 (14th,13th,12th Gen) Intel Z690 SATA 6Gb/s DDR5 ATX Intel Motherboard

Pros: Bought this board based on a tech reviewer's recommendation and it is actually quite good. Has more features than I could use in current build but I'd rather have some unused features than missing something I wanted.

Cons: The only real negative about this was that it came with a BIOS that only supported 12th generation intel processors but having other functional machines allowed me to download and do the flash update to current 13th and '14th' generation processors. So the negative is taken care of. Oh, and as seems is common practice today, XMP or memory overclocks need careful, manual tuning to be functional and stable.

Overall Review: This motherboard was easy to install and configure once I flashed the latest BIOS via a USB. Running a simple i5 13600KF processor and it is stable at stock memory speeds. Meets my needs for an Intel platform and so I'm pleased with the low cost and functionality.

Seems like an excellent product

PCIe SATA Card 10 Port 6Gbps SATA 3.0 PCIe Card Built-in Adapter Converter For Desktop PC Support 10 SATA 3.0 Devices
PCIe SATA Card 10 Port 6Gbps SATA 3.0 PCIe Card Built-in Adapter Converter For Desktop PC Support 10 SATA 3.0 Devices

Pros: Lots of SATA ports for those kinds of builds. Works well enough.

Cons: For some reason, nothing but a tiny slip of paper in Chinese and no contact information on product or box. My LG blue-ray DVD drive is not recognized or controlled in Windows 10 Pro. Minor issue. Since I have no way to contact anyone about it, one egg off.

Overall Review: I would recommend this for someone building a system who needs lots of SATA ports. Just don't expect support if you have one or more devices that are not recognized out of the box.

Excellent motherboard

ASUS PRIME B650-PLUS AMD B650 AM5 Ryzen™ Desktop 9000 8000 and 7000 ATX motherboard, DDR5, PCIe 5.0 M.2, 2.5Gb LAN, DP, HDMI®, SATA 6Gbps, USB 3.2 Gen 2 & 1 Type-C®, BIOS FlashBack™, USB4® support
ASUS PRIME B650-PLUS AMD B650 AM5 Ryzen™ Desktop 9000 8000 and 7000 ATX motherboard, DDR5, PCIe 5.0 M.2, 2.5Gb LAN, DP, HDMI®, SATA 6Gbps, USB 3.2 Gen 2 & 1 Type-C®, BIOS FlashBack™, USB4® support

Pros: Installed and operated as I expected it to. ASUS support did do excellent follow-up when I had a query about the BIOS update and warranty. Currently running AMD Ryzen 5 7800X CPU and Mushkin DDR5 6000 (2x16GB sticks) and machine is stable with original BIOS and after upgrading to the 1601 version and turning on the EXPO memory timing still pumping along. ASUS support is way ahead of some of their competitors. I won't mention the names because I don't need the contest with them.

Cons: The only CON I had about the product (and it was my fault to not notice until I had the board) was that it only had four 6GB SATA ports and I needed eight for this setup. I saw there was another ASUS board that had the requisite eight for about forty dollars less but I just plugged in a SATA expansion board to take care of the extra drives. Like I said, it was my eagerness to get the build going and not have seen what the model difference was. Otherwise great MB!

Overall Review: I'd definitely recommend this ASUS motherboard to anyone needing a stable system with relatively low costs involved.
