Overall Review: This SSD resolved thermal throttling issue in a mini pc. I had black screens and the computer would become sluggish at times, just surfing the internet. The mini pc Ryzen7 4800H came with chinese ram and ssd, covered with a large heatsink. I removed the heat sink, installed this Kingston NV3, left the bottom cover off and have a 120mm fan blowing at the ram & SSD. The pc is sitting on top of the fan, which is powered by an external usb 5V. Only wish the pc was better than PCIe 3.0.

Pros: Connectivity, FM2+ socket, solid caps, nice software add-ons included.

Cons: I paired it with an AMD A10-6800K BE Richland 4.1GHz (4.4GHz) Socket FM2 100W Quad-Core APU. Chose to drop the stock cooler and used a ZALMAN CNPS8900 Quiet. It encroaches over one memory slot and actually touches the memory stick, causing it to overheat and shut down the pc. No dual channel DDR-2133 memory possible here!

Overall Review: I wish motherboard manufacturers and aftermarket cpu coolers manufacturers would work together, agree and commit to space/volume specifications to clear all components on a motherboard so they are fully compatible, not just compatible.

Pros: Quality appearance, fits right in. Possibly improved the sound, time will tell.

Cons: Cables are very stiff, it made my dac stand up in the air. Also, in the old days, it was standard to have an RCA cable with one connector red for right and the other one white was left channel. Nobody remembers that apparently. Those have red bands on all connectors so you have to follow the cable to know which one will be left or right. A white band for left and red band for right would have worked while still discrete.

Overall Review: I would recommend the product but I would have preferred to have an easy way to differentiate left/right channels. I would trade looks for a bit more flexibility and functionality.
