Power Cord missing, system did not detect a Battery!

Acer 17.3" VN7-791G-78X5 Intel Core i7 4720HQ (2.60 GHz) NVIDIA GeForce GTX 960M 16 GB Memory 2 TB HDD Windows 10 Home 64-Bit Gaming Laptop (Manufacturer Recertified)

Pros: Gorgeous machine, sleek well thought out and sexy (if a laptop can be sexy)

Cons: 1) Came without a power cord for the charger (I had a spare) 2) System did not detect a battery and would go dead when unplugged from the charger. (the reason I sent it back for replacement)

Overall Review: I had to convince the customer rep that the LAPTOP came with an INSTALLED BATTERY. She insisted that the description said nothing about a battery. I had to COPY the product description and send it to her in a chat (the SECOND CHAT I had with her) to convince her that the machine was DEFECTIVE . Oy Vey!

Disappointing

Mushkin Enhanced Reactor 2.5" 1TB SATA III MLC Internal Solid State Drive (SSD) MKNSSDRE1TB
Mushkin Enhanced Reactor 2.5" 1TB SATA III MLC Internal Solid State Drive (SSD) MKNSSDRE1TB

Pros: When it works, it works great.

Cons: I bought this back in March of 2017 and it gave new life to my Acer V3 771g, but after 6 months it started thowing hardware errors to windows and it would BSOD my system every day. I took the system to a local repair shop and my PC is stable running on another HD, so it's the SSD that's causing the issue. Let me put it like this, in trying to image an external HD when errors started showing up in a last ditch effort to save my data and programs, Minitool Partition maker would error out 1/2 way through destroying my original image and leaving me with no option but to take it to a repair shop to try to get my data back. You can't believe how disappointed I am in Mushkin.

Overall Review: I've emailed with their support team and they claim It's my RAM that's causing the 0x0000005F but the system is stable with another HD installed. I just want my data, programs and OS back. I don't think I'll be buying another Mushkin unless they offer 100% guaranteed data recovery service in the event their drives fail.
