Pros: Great Drive, seriously... I have had this SSD for a year and after running a scan on it I have no bad sectors. Everything is perfect. I use it as an OS drive so it's always being used.
Cons: After a little less than 2 years of normal use the cable just started blacking out. It's kind of odd but if there is any movement around the TV while watching a movie the TV will go black for about 2 seconds and then come back on.
Overall Review: Before anyone blames the playback device or the TV I have already replaced the HDMI cable with another one and it works without any issues. I am not sure what caused this cable to stop working but it did indeed die.
Pros: Plugged the card in and it works. I have had it for a very short time but after updating my drivers everything runs great. I have been running it through a battery of tests and it is performing admirably. If you are looking for a mid-range priced card for gaming, look no further.
Overall Review: Be aware that this XFX version of the card is very long. It was actually about half an inch longer than my 6970 that I replaced. Not an issue if you have a big case but just make sure you have the room to accommodate it.
I have been running some games on max settings to test the card and so far it pulls 100+ FPS on DX11 Ultra settings. The card also runs up to about 55 degrees C when under full load so it's pretty nice.
Pros: Had reservations about dropping this much cash on a mouse but I am glad that I did. Works great, looks great, and have had zero issues with it. Extra buttons are a plus.
Pros: Great CPU. I am a game enthusiast and have yet to max this thing out. It eats everything I throw at it and wants more. Highly recommend.
Pros: Great fans. Well built and keep my case cool.
Cons: Price I guess but you get what you pay for.
Pros: Work great. Noise isn't bad at all for the cooling power they produce.
Cons: Price I guess but you get what you pay for!!
Pros: Great Keyboard. All keys are still working perfectly.
Pros: Card is a beast. I have played everything on this card at MAX settings and it destroys it. Mind you it is still at stock settings as well.
Cons: Can run a little warm. With my configuration I have had it hit 70 C, but i have heard of people hitting 90+ c with it.
Overall Review: Cooler Master MC 690 Advanced II Case
8 Scythe Cooling Fans
AMD Phenom 1100T Black Edition Thuban
Thermaltake Frio CPU Cooler
8 Gig Corsair XMS Memory
Radeon HD 6970 Video Card
Intel 80G SSD
Western Digital 500G HDD
Pros: Great size, cheap, very reliable, and works great.
Overall Review: Have a Logitech G500 Mouse and it works flawlessly with this pad. Couldn't ask for better.
Pros: Posted fine the first time and so far a solid board. Love all the extra features it gives
Cons: Onboard video
Overall Review: -Cooler Master CM690 II Advanced Case
-ASUS M4A89GTD AM3 Motherboard
-AMD Phenom II x6 1100T Thuban Processor
-Corsair XMS3 8GB DDR3 Ram
-Diamond Radeon HD 6970 2GB Video card
-Thermaltake Frio CPU Heatsink
-Intel X25-M 80GB SSD
-Western Digital 250GB HDD
-Western Digital 500GB HDD
-Corsair 1000W PSU
Pros: Runs great
Overall Review: As always great drives for a good price. This is why i only buy Western Digital
Pros: Great Heatsink. Steady at 32C right now. hit about 40C under load. Amazing considering all I do. For the price it cant be beat.
Overall Review: Not a con for me but be warned that this thing is huge. I had to take off a side panel fan in my case because its so big. I have about a half inch of clearance for my Ram so it is good.
Pros: Great buy. My OS will boot in about 10 seconds with this drive and Windows 7. So far it has been blazing fast for everything. Perfect OS drive.
Pros: Runs well and no errors so far. Will update if anything happens. I have had really good luck out of Corsair stuff for some time now so they are a great company in my book.
Pros: - Front and top Mesh for good airflow.
- Fan slots
- Cable management is AWESOME in this case.
-Has really good airflow.
-Tool free design is really nice.
Overall Review: Its not enough to knock off any eggs but be careful when ordering additional fans for this case. The HDD rack is removable to add more fans in the bottom but then you have ONLY 2 places for HDD. I have 2 plus a SSD so i couldn't put any fans in the bottom of the case.
Pros: Great Price for what you get. Looks and works great
Overall Review: Color is a little off from the other Monitor that I have.
The other one is a Acer D240H so it could just be that its a different model. Its not a bit deal though.
Pros: Well I have had this PSU for almost 1 year exactly and I love it. It has been a trooper so far.
Overall Review: Getting ready to upgrade and transfer this PSU into a new Rig so we will see if it can handle all that the new one will throw at it. new one will be:
AMD Thuban 1100T
8 Gig Corsair XMS DDR3
AMD 6970 GPU
also 2 HDD and 1 SDD.
Pros: Being an avid gamer I rely heavily on my OS to perform the way I need it to. I have stuck with XP up to this point with all the issues that plagued Vista. At this point though I have had many chances to play around with 7 and all my impressions where really good. Everything in the OS is smooth and polished. I really like all of the features that they have added to help clutter and confusion to a minimum. Not to mention with you being able to purchase the OEM it saves you some money off the full retail version.
Overall Review: Being a gamer I like to keep tabs on my hardware. A plus is being able to use the "gadgets" that are embedded into the desktop without having to install a lot of third party software. Right now I use the ones that monitor my Network Traffic, CPU and Ram information, and monitors all my GPU stats. So far I haven't noticed any of them causing any issues with system performance so we're good.
Pros: So far this Ram has been good to me. I have had 2 sticks of it since around 2004 in my gaming rig and I just bought another 2 sticks to upgrade it until I finally push to DDR3 Ram. After installing the other 2 sticks everything seems to be good, no posting issues or little glitches to see anywhere.
Thanks Newegg for the speedy shipping and great service!!!
Cons: None right now
Overall Review: Out of all the original DDR memory I have to say that this is some of the best.
Pros: This PSU is definitely a good buy. So far everything is working perfectly. Loving the modular cables, it goes a long way to help your cases airflow and aesthetics. like other reviewers have said there are 4 cables that are not modular but to me this gives me a little piece of mind that they will handle their voltage correctly. All in all I have to say that this PSU is a must buy for anyone in the market for a 1000W.
Great shipping and service by Newegg as always!!
Cons: Not really a con but mine makes a short whistling noise when my rig shuts down...almost like its powering down. Not sure if this is normal or not, will do some research and get back with Newegg on that one
Overall Review: Not a pro or a con so I will put it here. Pay attention to your case size because this PSU is HUGE!! My old one was a 450W and this one was almost twice the size. If you have a mid tower case or smaller you will definitely want to measure your clearance. Another thing is that this PSU is really heavy, which to me is a good thing. Most people compare weight to quality so hopefully we are good there.
Pros: If you are interested in using this for gaming read!!
- 24" widescreen
- Great color depth
- Whites are white and blacks are black
- Beautiful sleek design
- no buttons. just back lit areas that you touch for controls...if that makes sense.
- Buttons have perfect sensitivity to touch.
- Input button on the front.
- Bought it on sell for $260
Cons: - VERY small amount of back-light around the edges.
Overall Review: I am still rating this monitor 5 eggs just due to the fact that it is a great buy. The back light isn't enough of a deal to mess with anything. you can only see it if the screen is totally blacked out.
I am currently using this monitor for my gaming PC and my XBOX 360. I have my 360 hooked up through the HDMI and the PC through DVI. The input button on the front makes it very easy to switch between my Computer stuff and playing games. Another cool thing I found out is if I am playing my 360 and shut it off the monitor automatically switched over to my computer screen.
If you are looking for a good 24" widescreen i definitely recommend this monitor.
Also thanks Newegg for the awesome service and fast delivery!!!
Pros: Great Monitor. Out of the box, hooked it up and everything is perfect. Not 1 dead pixel to be found. As well as the others the auto adjust is great, works flawless.
Cons: Will update if anything occurs
Overall Review: Got this for my wifes E Machine computer. Best monitor I can justify spending 100 dollars on.
If you are planning on buying this just remember that it ONLY has a VGA connector.
Thanks for the quick order Newegg, great as usual. From order to house in 3 business days.
